SILVER SPRING, MD - July 18, 2024 - True Crime enthusiasts, mark your calendars! "DEADLY CASE FILES," a gripping new series hosted by famed detectives Vincent Velazquez and David Quinn Jr. premieres Monday, July 22 at 10 PM ET/9C on TV One.

"DEADLY CASE FILES" will bring viewers into the heart of complex homicide investigations and showcase the unwavering dedication some of the country's toughest detectives used to crack the case. Joined by Detectives Velazquez and Quinn, these veteran detectives will share their stories with a captivating mix of suspense, drama, and real-life sleuthing.

MEET THE HOSTS:

Vincent Velazquez Following his passion for Law enforcement, he joined the Atlanta Police Department where he excelled through the ranks, securing his position as a Homicide & Cold Case Detective and Senior Hostage Negotiator Team Leader. With over 22 years of law enforcement experience and over 17 years as an investigator and Hostage Negotiator, Det. Velazquez has participated in over 1000 death investigations including several high profile and complex cases as well as over 300 negotiations. After such a distinguished career, Detective Velazquez retired from the Atlanta Police Department in 2017 and notably featured in TV One series "Fatal Attraction" and "ATL Homicide."

David Quinn boasts a remarkable 30-year career with the Atlanta Police Department, handling numerous high-profile cases. Even in retirement, Quinn continues to mentor new detectives and share his wealth of experience with the public. In addition to numerous television appearances, Quinn and longtime partner Velazquez formerly hosted the hit TV One series "ATL Homicide."

Episode Previews:

· Episode 1: In the quiet suburbs outside Atlanta, a security guard's murder shocks the community. With only a grainy video as a clue, Detective JB Williams must piece together the puzzle in this riveting "whodunit."

· Episode 2: A homicide outside a bustling Atlanta nightclub leaves Detective Tracy Lewis with minimal evidence. An anonymous tip from a social media post might be the key to solving this heated confrontation-turned-murder.

· Episode 3: The discovery of a woman's beaten body in a trash can coincides with the disappearance of another resident's girlfriend in northeast Atlanta. Detective Calvin Thomas must determine if these two incidents are connected.

· Episode 4: In Atlanta's historic arts and entertainment district, a dead body is found by security guards. Detective Jamael Logan relies on surveillance footage and items left at the scene to crack the case.

· Episode 5: A young man's murder in the heart of Atlanta presents a familiar suspect, stirring up past confrontations and testing Detective Howard Griffin's skills to their limits.

· Episode 6: Detective Curtis Williams faces a brutal execution-style double homicide on the outskirts of Birmingham. An interview sheds light on missing pieces, proving his instincts correct as he uncovers the truth.
