TNT's Regular Season Coverage Highlighted by Exclusive Wednesday Night Telecasts, Thanksgiving Showdown Doubleheader, 4 Nations Face-Off Games & Six Weeks of Sunday Games Starting Feb. 2025, with Tripleheaders on March 2 & April 6

TNT Sports will enter its fourth season of live NHL on TNT coverage with a 62-game regular season schedule, starting with superstar Sidney Crosby - in his 20th NHL season - and the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting Artemi Panarin and the 2024 Presidents' Trophy-winning New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. ET as part of a marquee opening week doubleheader on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The blockbuster schedule also includes the Discover NHL Winter Classic on New Year's Eve, the 4 Nations Face-Off and regular live game coverage on Wednesday nights and additional live Sunday afternoon games in Spring 2025.

The 2024-25 season will culminate with NHL on TNT's exclusive presentation of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final, in addition to half of the Stanley Cup Playoffs - First Round, Second Round and Conference Final. All NHL on TNT's regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs games, as well as pre and postgame coverage, will be simulcast on truTV and available to stream on Max's B/R Sports Add-On.

NHL on TNT's opening week coverage will spotlight prominent NHL storylines, including Crosby's two-decade career in the League, leading the Penguins in their home opener against the Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Later at 10 p.m., a face-off between the 2022 and 2023 Stanley Cup Champions, as Hart Trophy Winner Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the Colorado Avalanche visit Jack Eichel, Mark Stone and the Vegas Golden Knights.

The NHL on TNT regular season schedule will feature the biggest stars and rivalries in hockey, with exclusive coverage on 25 Wednesday nights throughout the season as well as the annual Thanksgiving Showdown on Black Friday, Nov. 29 - Penguins at Boston Bruins at 6:30 p.m. and Avalanche at Dallas Stars at 9 p.m.

TNT will again be the exclusive home of the Discover NHL Winter Classic on New Year's Eve starting at 5 p.m., as Calder Memorial Trophy Winner Connor Bedard makes his outdoor game debut at legendary Wrigley Field, leading the Chicago Blackhawks against Jordan Kyrou and the St. Louis Blues.

NHL on TNT will also broadcast three of the highly anticipated 4 Nations Face-Off games, including the first of the round robin matchups, Sweden vs. Canada on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m., and a Presidents' Day doubleheader on Monday, Feb. 17 - Finland vs. Canada at 1 p.m., followed by Sweden vs. USA at 8 p.m.

Additional NHL on TNT regular season schedule highlights include:

On Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m., the second leading goal scorer of all time Alex Ovechkin will make his first of five appearances on TNT and Max, leading the Washington Capitals against the Philadelphia Flyers, continuing his chase of Wayne Gretzky's record 894 goals.

TNT and Max will feature a Thanksgiving Eve doubleheader on Wednesday, Nov. 27 as Nikita Kucherov, Victor Hedman and the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Capitals at 7:30 p.m., followed by Eichel, Stone and the Golden Knights visiting MacKinnon, Makar and the Avalanche at 10 p.m.

Stars will shine Wednesday, Dec. 4 as Brad Marchand, David Pastrňák and the Bruins take on Bedard and the Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. in an Original Six showdown, followed by Jason Robertson, Jake Oettinger and the Stars visiting Anže Kopitar and the Los Angeles Kings at 10 p.m.

Matthew Tkachuk, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers return to TNT's center ice on Wednesday, Dec. 18 to battle Kirill Kaprizov and the Minnesota Wild at 9:30 p.m. The night's action starts at 7 p.m. as Patrick Kane and the Detroit Red Wings host Travis Konecny and the Flyers.

In its first season, the Utah Hockey Club will play three times on TNT & Max:

Utah will host the Stanley Cup Champion Panthers on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10 p.m.

Crosby and the Penguins battle Utah on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 9:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 12, Trevor Zegras and the Anaheim Ducks visit Utah at 10 p.m.

In a marquee doubleheader on Wednesday, Feb. 5, the action gets underway at 7 p.m. as Eastern Conference heavyweights Mika Zibanejad, Panarin and the Rangers host Marchand, Pastrňák and the Bruins, followed by Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the 2024 Western Conference champion Edmonton Oilers - making a total of five appearances on the network this season - visiting Bedard and the Blackhawks at 9:30 p.m.

NHL on TNT Sunday games will start Feb. 23, highlighted by tripleheaders on both March 2 and April 6:

March 2: Toronto Maple Leafs - led by American-born superstar Auston Matthews - at Pittsburgh Penguins (1 p.m.); Boston Bruins at Minnesota Wild (3:30 p.m.); St. Louis Blues at Dallas Stars (6 p.m.)

April 6: Washington Capitals at New York Islanders (12:30 p.m.); Dallas Stars at Minnesota Wild (3 p.m.); Florida Panthers at Detroit Red Wings (5:30 p.m.)

On Wednesday, March 26 at 10 p.m., NHL on TNT will broadcast Robertson and the Stars battling McDavid and the Oilers in a rematch of the 2024 Western Conference Final. Earlier in the evening, Nick Foligno and the Blackhawks will host Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils at 7:30 p.m.

NHL on TNT will close the regular season with a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 16 headlined by Dylan Larkin and the Red Wings facing off against Hughes and the Devils at 7:30 p.m.; at 10 p.m., 2024 Jack Adams Award winner Coach Rick Tocchet, Norris Trophy Winner Quinn Hughes and the Vancouver Canucks will host Eichel and the Golden Knights.
