Hulu today announced a limited series order for drama project "Untitled Murdaugh Murders," from co-creator and showrunner Michael D. Fuller ("Quarry," "Rectify" and "Locke & Key") and co-creator Erin Lee Carr ("Britney vs Spears," "I Love You, Now Die" and "Mommy Dead and Dearest"), starring Patricia Arquette as Maggie Murdaugh. The series is based on Maggie and Alex Murdaugh's stranger-than-fiction family drama, a riveting account drawing from countless hours of reporting by Mandy Matney - journalist and creator of the popular "Murdaugh Murders Podcast" - as well as exclusive, insider knowledge from years spent following the case.

Arquette, Eat the Cat, Hulu and UCP have a successful history together, having launched the hit limited series "The Act," for which Arquette won the Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. "Untitled Murdaugh Murders" adds to Arquette's slate of upcoming projects, which includes "The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde," opposite Jodie Comer and directed by Kenneth Branagh, and "They Will Kill You," opposite Zazie Beetz and directed by Kirill Sokolov. Her recent TV credits include the award-winning series "Severance," the critically lauded "High Desert" and "Escape at Dannemora," for which she won the Golden Globe(R), Critics Choice and SAG Awards. Arquette also had leading roles in drama series including "Medium," "CSI: Cyber" and "Boardwalk Empire." She received the Academy Award(R) for her work in "Boyhood." Arquette is repped by Gersh, 3 Arts Entertainment and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
