Today, Netflix revealed JOE MANGIANELLO (Deal or No Deal Island) will host Netflix's GEEKED WEEK 2024 LIVE, a live (8:00 PM ET Live), in-person fan event on September 19 in Atlanta; the event will stream live on YouTube, Twitch and X around the world.

In addition, Cobra Kai stars JACOB BERTRAND and XOLO MARIDUEÑA will serve as special correspondents throughout the two-hour live event.

ABOUT JOE MANGANIELLO

JOE MANGANIELLO can currently be seen as the host and executive producer of the popular primetime game show Deal or No Deal Island, which is currently in production on its second season. He can next be seen opposite Vince Vaughn in the feature film Nonnas, which was just bought by Netflix. Manganiello will begin production later this year on the post-apocalyptic feature film Mountain Man, an adaptation of the popular book series of the same name from Keith C. Blackmore. John Lee will direct from a script by Matt Deller, with Nick and Joe Manganiello's 3:59 producing alongside Danny Chan. Manganiello earned a BFA in acting from The Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama before going on to become well known for his role on the hit series "True Blood," as well as in the Magic Mike franchise, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Pee Wee's Big Holiday, Sabotage, and Rampage. Joe's recent credits include a starring role in the feature film, The Kill Room, opposite Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson as well as the current seasons of AppleTV's series Mythic Quest, and Netflix's Love Death and Robots. He starred in The Smiths' infused indie feature Shoplifters of the World as well as the indie feature Archenemy. Both films were produced by his company 3:59. Manganiello currently serves on the board of trustees for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

ABOUT JACOB BERTRAND

Jacob Bertrand is best known for his standout role as Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz on the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai. He began his acting career at a young age, landing roles in shows such as Nickelodeon's Marvin Marvin and Disney's Kirby Buckets. However, it was his compelling performance in Cobra Kai that earned him widespread recognition and praise for his dynamic portrayal of a bullied teen who evolves into a formidable martial artist. In addition to his live-action success, Bertrand also stars as the voice of Bam (the Batmobile) in Warner Bros.' animated series Batwheels, where he shares the screen with Ethan Hawke. In addition to his acting career, Bertrand hosts a popular podcast with his Cobra Kai co-star Xolo Mariduena, Lone Lobos, where the two share pop culture insights and interview various guests. Bertrand resides just outside of Los Angeles He spends his free time directing short films, playing the guitar, and engaging in various outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and surfing. Additionally, he is passionate about cyclocross, skateboarding, and working in his wood shop.

ABOUT XOLO MARIDUEÑA

At only 23, Xolo Maridueña has already established his place as one to watch within the industry. Xolo stars as the title character of BLUE BEETLE for DC Comics. The film debuted theatrically worldwide on August 18, 2023, which was the same day his single On My Way dropped. This is the first Latino-led superhero theatrical film for DC. It is also the first DC film labeled Verified Hot at 91% on the Rotten Tomatoes Popcorn Meter. Xolo also stars as Miguel Diaz in Netflix's smash hit series COBRA KAI, an extension of the classic Karate Kid film franchise, alongside original cast members Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. The series is currently on its 6th and final season. Having garnered wide critical praise since the show's 2018 debut, Maridueña has quickly become a fan favorite, having already earned Teen Choice and Young Artists Award nominations. The show's fifth season debuted on September 9th, 2022 and was nominated for 4 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series. Xolo's first big break came in 2012 at age 10, when he landed the role of Victor on NBC's hit drama series PARENTHOOD, alongside an all-star ensemble cast including Dax Shepard, Craig T. Nelson, Lauren Graham, and more. Throughout his three seasons on the show, his performance impressed critics and fans alike, earning him an Imagen Award nomination, recognition for "channeling Latino talent" at the ALMA Awards, and a spot-on Latina Magazine's "50 Brightest Stars Under 25" list. He also won a Young Artist Award along with other young Parenthood cast members for Outstanding Youth Ensemble, as well as a TV Land Award. Throughout his career, Xolo has appeared in a number of guest television roles including MAJOR CRIMES, TWIN PEAKS, RUSH HOUR, and MACK AND MOXY. In film, he was featured in Dealin' with Idiots, directed and starring Jeff Garlin, alongside Gina Gershon and Kerry Kenney, and has also performed on stage in "Light in the Darkness" and "Little Red," both of which showed at the CASA 0101 Theater in Los Angeles. Xolo's work has landed him on Forbes' 30 under 30 list as well as Variety's 2021 Young Hollywood Impact List, an annual roundup that highlights young stars who are trailblazers in the industry. He was named "one to watch" by People Magazine and was also included in People En Español's "50 Most Beautiful" list for 2021. Xolo's currently working on a music album which will be released in Fall 2024 and recently shot a film, Killing Castro, that will be released in 2025.
