Prime Video Renews Hit Series "Reacher" for Fourth Season

The second season was the most viewed 2023 release on Prime Video

CULVER CITY, California - October 9, 2024 - Prime Video today announced that it has renewed the hit series Reacher for a fourth season. The second season was the most viewed 2023 release on Prime Video. The third season is set to debut in 2025. Additionally, last week Prime Video announced a series order for a Reacher spinoff, The Untitled Neagley Project, starring Maria Sten. Previous seasons of Reacher are available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

In the third season of the action-packed drama series starring Alan Ritchson, based on the seventh book in Lee Child's global best-selling series, Persuader, Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past. As previously announced, Maria Sten will return for season three, joined by Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.

"Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season," said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. Based on the novels by Lee Child, who is an executive producer on the series, Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. Reacher is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora (FUBAR, Prison Break), who also executive produces and serves as showrunner. In addition to Santora and Child, Ritchson will serve as an executive producer, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid are the executives-in-charge of the series for Skydance Television.
