Prime Video unveils the new rules of LOL IRL

After the success of the first 4 seasons and a special Halloween edition, LOL: Who laughs, comes out! is available in a new, never-before-seen version, LOL IRL

At Mipcom Cannes, Prime Video announced today that LOL IRL will take place in a public place, among anonymous people. Actor, screenwriter and director Philippe Lacheau will once again be the master of the game. Produced by Endemol France, LOL IRL will be launched exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories around the world in 2025. LOL IRL is the latest addition to the Prime Video catalog. Prime members in France benefit from exclusive Prime Flash Sales, accelerated delivery and access to the best entertainment in a single subscription for only €6.99/month or the advantageous price of €69.90/year.

The unique LOL: Who laughs, comes out! experience is back but this time in real life! 6 celebrities will meet in a public place somewhere in France to play LOL, among anonymous people who are unaware of anything. Thanks to a hidden camera system, all their actions will be captured without the knowledge of the people present. So keep your eyes peeled, because the game could just as easily take place in a supermarket, a cinema, an airport or even a museum...

And who says new device also says new rule: to win, the 6 celebrities will have to make as many people laugh as possible, whether they are the anonymous people - who are unaware of anything - or their opponents. For each laugh provoked, a point is scored. At the end of the 6 hours of play, the 2 celebrities with the most points will access the final.

Are you ready to (maybe) take part in LOL IRL?

After the success of the first 4 seasons and a special Halloween edition, LOL: Who laughs, comes out! is now available in an everyday place where anonymous people are at the heart of the program. LOL: Who laughs, comes out! will also return in 2025 for a fifth season with the following cast: Artus, Camille Chamoux, Vincent Dedienne, Cédric Doumbe, Fatou Kaba, Alexandre Kominek, Jérôme Niel, Muriel Robin, Marina Rollman and Fred Testot.
