What's going on in Dabiz Muñoz's mind?
No dressings. No artifices. Raw. This is how Dabiz Muñoz's universe arrives on Netflix. The doors to the mind of one of the most iconic chefs will open on Friday, December 20th, the date on which his documentary series, Univerxo Dabiz, premieres.
Dabiz Muñoz is the only chef in the world who has been named Number 1 in The Best Chef Awards for three years in a row, a result of Muñoz's obsession with achieving excellence in his restaurants. But, at this moment, his universe is in turmoil: What is the price of that pursuit of perfection? What will happen with DiverXO? Is professional success compatible with personal happiness? Is there a moment when Dabiz hangs up the apron and becomes David? In Univerxo Dabiz, the viewer will find the answers to these questions.
Over the course of five episodes, Dabiz opens up to Netflix. The documentary series explores Dabiz's fears and desires and shows the examination he subjects himself to every day as he tries to decide the future of his restaurants and his life.
Along with his team, his wife - Cristina Pedroche-, his friends and family, and professional colleagues - such as René Redzepi, Ricard Camarena, Gastón Acurio, and Andoni Luis Aduriz-, the documentary series accompanies Dabiz on a crucial journey for his career. Univerxo Dabiz, produced by WelinkStudios, will premiere on Netflix on December 20th, 2024.

Dabiz Muñoz, Spanish Chef with 3 Michelin Stars at his restaurant DiverXO, is closely associated with avant-garde cuisine, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. He has been recognized with multiple awards since those first "Cocinero Revelación" and "Restaurante Revelación" 2008 at Madrid Fusión. Among them, beyond the Michelin stars of his restaurants DiverXO and RavioXO, DiverXO was chosen in 2023 as the third best restaurant in the world in The World's 50 Best, after only 3 years on the list.
