Weeks of December 2-16, 2024

Mondays

· "Contraband: Seized at the Airport" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 9pm ET/PT

· The new series will follow Dept of Homeland Security officers at five different airports across the country, from San Francisco, Detroit, Newark, Atlanta, and Honolulu, as they search for contraband both leaving and coming into the US. From uncovering well-established drug trafficking routes between the US and UK on passenger flights to tens of thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit US stamps concealed in cargo planes, to a preacher who brings back coconut from a trip and accidentally tells an officer he has cocaine, this series will give viewers a taste of the wildest things that happen at airports.

Tuesdays

· "Moonshiners" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 8pm ET/PT

· Deep in the backwoods of Appalachia, in a forgotten corner of America, the centuries-old conflict between moonshiners and revenues still rages on. But moonshiners are fighting back amid new threats to their traditional way of life. Hearkening to the legendary Moonshiners' Code, they've resurrected their forefathers' outlaw tactics against thievery, greed and cheap imitation.

· "Game Changers" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 9pm ET/PT

· This eight-part limited series dives into the little-known backstories of how some of the most iconic games were created. Interviews with inventors, journalists, video game enthusiasts, authors and more reveal the brilliant inspiration and dirty deals that brought these games to the public.

Wednesdays

· "Expedition Files" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 9PM ET/PT

· Adventurer Josh Gates travels through history on a search to uncover new evidence and answers to the world's most captivating and unexplained mysteries.

· "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 10pm ET/PT

· Surprising revelations await father and son duo Duane and Chad Ollinger as they resume their excavation of Blind Frog Ranch, their remote 160-acre property in Utah's Uinta Basin rumored to sit atop an ancient hidden Aztec fortune. The all-new season opens a new chapter in the team's fervent search for lost gold as they make groundbreaking new discoveries, uncover unexpected artifacts and piece together what may be a new pathway of history.

· "Mysteries of the Abandoned" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 11pm ET/PT

· The world's most incredible engineering projects are revisited to uncover why places full of mysteries and untold secrets are now abandoned ruins. This season will feature new locations including the castle-like mansion of Asa Griggs "Buddy" Candler Jr., the son of the co-founder of the Coca-Cola Company, the factory where Oskar Schindler secretly protected 1,200 Jewish people from the Holocaust and a former-US military base near the Panama Canal that was on the frontline against Manuel Noriega.

Fridays

· "Gold Rush" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 8pm ET/PT

· This season, the miners will face unforeseen changes and immense challenges before they can cash in on all-time high gold prices. One miner will falter, threatening to destroy everything that they worked for.

· "The Last Woodsmen" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 9pm ET/PT

· On a floating barge hundreds of miles from civilization, veteran logger Jared Douglas puts everything on the line to harvest the largest timber in the world. One misstep in this high-risk industry could cost tens of thousands of dollars, or even a life. Joining him at the edge of the world is a tight-knit crew of lumbermen who, with only axes and hand-held power saws, take down massive, highly valuable trees that can be worth up to $70K each.

· "Homestead Rescue" New Episodes Debut on Discovery Channel - 8pm ET/PT

· Marty, Matt and Misty Raney use decades of building, farming and hunting expertise to help people who strive to live off the grid.
