FOX NATION AND KEVIN COSTNER JOIN FORCES AGAIN FOR NEW LIMITED SERIES "YELLOWSTONE TO YOSEMITE WITH KEVIN COSTNER"

Hosted and Executive Produced by Costner, Episode One will Premiere on Saturday, February 8th

Three-Part Series Sequels Costner's Original Hit FOX Nation Series "Yellowstone: One-Fifty"

NEW YORK - January 27, 2025 - FOX Nation has signed its second deal with Academy Award-winning actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner for a three-part limited series entitled "Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner," announced Lauren Petterson, president of the streaming platform. Hosted and executive produced by Costner, the release follows the breakout success of Costner's "Yellowstone: One-Fifty," which premiered on FOX Nation in 2022. Episode one will debut on Saturday, February 8th, kicking off the steaming platform's year-long "America 250" campaign, commemorating the country's 250th anniversary in 2026.

In making the announcement, Ms. Petterson said, "Kevin Costner has a unique ability to capture the American experience and captivate an audience through his extraordinary storytelling. With the enormous success of our first project together, there is no filmmaker that better embodies the spirit of America 250 than Costner."

Mr. Costner added, "Once in a while, you come across a story that has that truly special mix of elements; it's stranger than fiction and happens against all odds. It results in something that legitimately changes the world for the good and, most importantly, it all really happened. The story of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir's camping trip through Yosemite is one of those truly special ones, and I'm excited to dig into the next chapter of the preservation of the American frontier."

"Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner" will consist of three episodes featuring Costner as he traces the footsteps of the pivotal 1903 Yosemite expedition of 26th President Teddy Roosevelt and environmental advocate John Muir. Through spectacular visuals of the geology, flora, and fauna of Glacier Point to El Capitan, Yosemite Falls and more, Costner brings the fascinating journey and long battles to preserve the American frontier to life. Juxtaposed with Costner's active exploration of the park, each episode delves into the history behind the journey that changed America.

Throughout the voyage, Costner explores the region's rich Indigenous American legacy, the serendipitous arrival of outsiders in 1850, and how John Muir evolved into a crusader for our wildest places. Through Costner's perspective, he illuminates the struggle waged by Muir as he contended with the intricate politics of resource management and how Roosevelt's intervention culminated in the establishment of a more structured National Park System, the creation of 150 National Forests, 5 National Parks, and the preservation and protection of 230 million acres of precious land.

Developed by Costner's Territory Films along with Warm Springs Productions, "Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner" will be released weekly on the platform. Costner's producing partner Rod Lake is an executive producer along with Marc Pierce for Warm Springs Productions.

Renowned for his robust major motion picture career, Costner has starred in several critically acclaimed films including Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, The Untouchables, Bull Durham, JFK, The Bodyguard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Silverado, Open Range, Wyatt Earp, and Tin Cup, plus the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys. His work in Paramount Network's Yellowstone marked his first regular television role and earned him a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series in 2023. The hit program was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Drama Series Ensemble. Costner has also won two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes for his performance in and directing of Dances with Wolves, an Emmy, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in Hatfields & McCoys and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in Hidden Figures. His latest film Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 premiered in June 2024.
