TYLER PERRY'S BELOVED CHARACTER RETURNS IN NEW FILM MADEA'S DESTINATION WEDDING

NEW COMEDY SERIES, TYLER PERRY'S SHE THE PEOPLE DEBUTS 2025

· During the Next on Netflix presentation, Netflix and Tyler Perry announced two new projects: a new film, Madea's Destination Wedding , and a new comedy series, She The People . Netflix also releaseJd first-look images from these projects and unveiled Tyler Perry's entire 2025 slate, which includes Part 2 of the hit drama series Beauty in Black , set to return on March 6, 2025; the drama feature Straw ; and the faith-based feature R&B .

· The new projects mark Tyler Perry's sixth film and second series from his creative partnership with Netflix, which sees him write, direct, and produce films , series , and faith-based features.

· Madea's Destination Wedding is the second film from the Madea franchise to be released on Netflix. A Madea Homecoming debuted at #1 on the Global Top 10 Films List (English) in 2022, and spent four weeks on the list.

· She The People marks Perry's second series for Netflix after Beauty in Black which reached #1 on the Global Top 10 TV List (English) following its debut.

· Perry's latest film out of the creative partnership, The Six Triple Eight , was his most viewed film through its first four weeks, and the release boosted viewing for his other films by 45%.
