Looking back, 2024 was a groundbreaking year for Netflix India - and we are ramping up 2025 to bring something for everyone, with even more variety and excitement.

With a focus on telling homegrown stories and pushing creative boundaries, our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality entertainment remains steadfast. Each series and film is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the cultural richness and authenticity that resonate deeply with audiences at home, while also engaging global viewers with universal themes.

Our 2025 slate promises a rich and varied lineup, from gripping dramas and thrilling heists to heartwarming rom-coms and adrenaline-pumping action. We are proud to deepen our partnerships with India's top creative talent while introducing new voices, all aimed at delivering the diversity and quality of storytelling that defines Netflix.

High-octane productions

Tentpole projects like Aryan Khan's grand Bollywood-themed series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood (The Bads of Bollywood), and Siddharth Anand's high-stakes drama, Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, bring scale and excitement to our slate. Meanwhile, Akka, an exceptional YRF production, is a gripping tale of powerful sisterhood, driven by chaos, violence, and the fight for survival.

These productions seamlessly blend spectacle and substance, promising an unparalleled immersive experience.

Romantic comedies reimagined

India adores love stories, and in 2025, we are introducing fresh and vibrant tales that reflect the nuances of Indian romance. Aap Jaisa Koi, The Royals, and Nadaaniyan infuse timeless romantic themes with a contemporary twist, while Dhoom Dhaam brings comedy into the mix, offering a delightful escape.

Strengthening South originals

We're elevating our distinct offerings from South India with compelling stories, including Test, a Tamil cricket drama starring Nayanthara, R. Madhavan, Siddharth, and Super Subbu, our first Telugu comedy-drama series that explores purpose and love in unexpected places.

Expanding comedy offerings

Comedy remains a core focus in 2025, with fan favorites like The Great Indian Kapil Show returning for a third season, delivering three times the laughter and entertainment. Diversifying our offering of humor is a special, Vir Das Fool Volume headlined by the beloved Emmy-winning star himself. To bring even more laughs, we present Toaster, an offbeat comedy with a sharp and unconventional take on modern life.

Revitalizing crime and action

Crime and action take center stage in these thrilling narratives, each offering a unique take on high-stakes storytelling. Mandala Murders weaves mystical undertones into a gripping mystery, while Dabba Cartel is an intense thriller that reimagines power and agency from a whole new perspective. Glory immerses us in a family's fierce pursuit of an Olympic medal, where emotional tension and ambition drive the drama. Meanwhile, Saare Jahan Se Accha presents an intense 1970s spy thriller inspired by history that celebrates India's unsung heroes.

Beloved series such as Khakee, Rana Naidu, Kohrra and Delhi Crime return bigger with gripping new storylines and fresh perspectives. Meeting the pulse of modern viewers

We take immense pride in expanding audience choices - from groundbreaking documentaries to compelling short films. This year, we are kicking off with the Oscar-nominated short film Anuja, a heartwarming tale of sisterhood. On a completely different spectrum, we are offering an exclusive glimpse into the Kapoor family, where their love for food and cinema comes alive in Dining With The Kapoors.

Delivering blockbuster entertainment

Rounding off this exceptional slate, we have an outstanding lineup of theatrical films making their way to Netflix India. These films come from some of the industry's most celebrated creators, including Ajay Devgn Films, Dharma Productions, Luv Films, Maddock Films, Roy Kapur Films, Salman Khan's SKF and T-Series. Complementing this, we're excited to bring a robust South slate to our members, featuring the finest talent from Tamil and Telugu cinema, with nine films in each language.
