NBC Orders Second Season of Its Hit Comedy Series "Happy's Place"
The pilot episode of "Happy's Place" is now up to 17.6 million viewers across all platforms, +338% from its initial airing on October 18.

· NBC has ordered a second season of its hit comedy series "Happy's Place."

· The pilot episode of "Happy's Place" is now up to 17.6 million viewers across all platforms, +338% from its initial airing on Oct. 18.

· The show has improved NBC's Friday 8 p.m. timeslot by 54% in total viewers.

· "Happy's Place" is the #2 NBC comedy launch ever on Peacock, behind only the network's other freshman hit, "St. Denis Medical."

· New NBC comedies "Happy's Place" and "St. Denis Medical" have reached nearly 45 million viewers across linear and digital platforms this season.

· Variety called the show "nostalgic, funny and heartfelt" while the A.V. Club said the show has a "comforting familiarity to its rhythms and its jokes, to its plots and its characters."

· "Happy's Place" airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on NBC and next day on Peacock.

ABOUT "HAPPY'S PLACE"

· Bobbie (Reba McEntire) inherits her father's tavern (Happy's Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

· The series stars Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.

· Writer Kevin Abbott executive produces with Reba McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry and Pamela Fryman.

· "Happy's Place" is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. The series is created by Kevin Abbott and Julie Abbott.
