9-1-1: NASHVILLE (ABC) - Chris O'Donnell is the first to be cast on the series as Captain Don Sharpe, "a rugged fire captain and rodeo rider who runs Nashville's busiest firehouse with his beloved son. Don's a devoted husband and family man but he has his secrets." (Deadline.com, 3/17)
ALMOST PARADISE (FOX, New!) - Brooke Shields and David Spade are attached to star in a multi-camera comedy at the network: "Just your everyday, normal married couple facing all the everyday, normal challenges of being stranded on a desert Island for decades. Think Blue Lagoon, the family sitcom." Danny Zuker is behind the project, which has a two-script order, with Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment also executive producing. (Deadline.com, 3/19)
AMERICAN DAD! (TBS) - 20th Television is reportedly in talks with FOX to relocate the series back to the network for its 20th season and beyond in a multi-year renewal. TBS has been its home since 2014 with the start of its ninth season. (Deadline.com, 3/21)
AMERICAN LOVE STORY (FX) - Sarah Pidgeon is set to star as Carolyn Bessette in the new anthology series, which depicts the whirlwind courtship and marriage of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. (Deadline.com, 3/21)
BIG BANG THEORY SPIN-OFF PROJECT, THE (Max) - "The Big Bang Theory" spin-off series has been formally titled "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe," in reference to Kevin Sussman's Stuart Bloom character. (Deadline.com, 3/19)
CHEATERS: UNFINISHED BUSINESS (Netflix) - Relationships expert Paul C. Brunson has joined the reality series hosted by Amanda Holden. (Deadline.com, 3/20)
CLEANING LADY, THE (FOX) - The show's fourth season has added Patricia De Leon as Chiqui, "the prison boss of the Mexican Mafia who is described as imposing, threatening and domineering"; Robert Cicchini as Assistant District Attorney Joel Herman, "a thorough investigator with a disarming, easy-going personality"; and Lea Salonga as Rose, "a former acquaintance of Fiona's (Martha Millan) who has married rich and now takes every opportunity she can to boast about giving back to her community." DEXTER: RESURRECTION (Showtime) - Steve Schirripa will recur on the latest sequel series as Vinny, "a greedy slumlord." Additionally, David Magidoff will return as Teddy Reed from "Dexter: New Blood" on the series. (Variety.com, 3/17, Deadline.com, 3/20)
FBI: CIA (CBS) - The proposed spin-off series will no longer originate as a planted spinoff of "FBI." Producers however are still casting the project for the 2025-26 season as a potential straight-to-series order. (Deadline.com, 3/17)
FIRE COUNTRY/SHERIFF COUNTRY (CBS) - Co-creators Joan Rater and Tony Phelan has signed a first-look deal with producer CBS Studios. (Deadline.com, 3/17)
GOOD DAUGHTER, THE (Peacock) - The limited series has added Olivia Williams as Harriet "Gamma" Quinn; Michael Dorman as Ben; Audrey Grace Marshall as Young Sam; and Drew Cheek as Young Charlie. No other character details were indicated. (Deadline.com, 3/21)
LANTERNS (HBO) - Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson have both been added to the DC Comics series. Augustus will play John Senior, "who is John Stewart's (Aaron Pierre) father and the human embodiment of "stubborn." In his own reality, he tends to fixate on the past and what could have been." Nicholson then will play the young version of John Senior. (Deadline.com, 3/21)
LEGENDS (Netflix) - Steve Coogan, Tom Burke, and Hayley Squires are set to topline the drug war series, which also features Aml Ameen, Jasmine Blackborow, Douglas Hodge, Tom Hughes, Johnny Harris, Gerald Kyd, and Charlotte Ritchie. No character details were indicated. (Deadline.com, 3/19)
LOONEY TUNES CARTOONS (Max) - The streamer has pulled the original "Looney Tunes" animated shorts from its service. The current incarnation, which last dropped an original installment in June 2024, however remains. (Deadline.com, 3/16)
MARGO'S GOT MONEY TROUBLES (Apple TV+) - Lindsey Normington, Rico Nasty, and Michael Workèyè are set to recur on the Elle Fanning-led series as Rose, KC, and JB, respectively. No other details were given. (Deadline.com, 3/21)
MOBLAND (Paramount+) - Emmy and two-time Oscar nominee Janet McTeer will appear on the upcoming series as Kat, who is "as charming as she is violent. Crime bosses from London to Beijing are anxious never to cross swords with her." (THR.com, 3/17)
MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN (FOX) - Marcia Gay Harden has joined the cast of the show's second season as Mayor Christie Holman, "a beloved figure in the community and also a consummate political operator. She's still a practicing doctor and has the best interests of the people of Gibsons at heart, but sometimes she lets her personal interests take precedence. She will complicate life for Karl (Rossif Sutherland) and Cassandra (Kristin Kreuk), as she uses the competing priorities of the community to advance her own agenda." (Variety.com, 3/19)
NCIS (CBS) - LL Cool J will reprise his "NCIS: Los Angeles" role of Sam Hanna on the April 21 episode of the mothership series. (@ncisverse, 3/20)

PRISON BREAK (REBOOT SERIES) (Hulu) - The pilot for the proposed offshoot series has cast Clayton Cardenas as Ghost, "a ruthlessly dangerous inmate at one of the deadliest prisons in America"; Myles Bullock as Darius "Red" Lewis, "an inmate at one of the deadliest prisons in America"; Georgie Flores as Andrea, "one of the female cadets training to be a Corrections Officer at one of the deadliest prisons in America"; and JR Bourne as Junior, "a mentally unstable lone survivor of a decades-old prison break that devastated the town." REASONABLE DOUBT (Hulu) - Joseph Sikora has joined the cast of the show's third season as Bill Sterling, "Jax's coworker at her firm Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart. Bill started his law career later in life after serving in the Coast Guard for ten years. As he looks toward making partner, his proximity to Jax becomes imperative to his success." RESIDENT ALIEN (USA Network) - Jewel Staite will recur on the upcoming fourth season as Jules Gardner, "an FBI agent assigned to the Colorado Springs field office who also happened to go to high school with Asta, Liv, D'arcy and Ben. TRACKER (CBS) - Pej Vahdat will recur on the current season as Leonard Sharf, "a demanding client of "Reenie's" (Fiona Rene) who is out for leverage against one of the founding partners of his company. Willing to throw any amount of money at the problem, he enlists "Reenie" to do his dirty work and insists on making sure there's no paper trail to connect the two of them." (Deadline.com, 3/20)
UNTITLED MURDAUGH MURDERS (Hulu) - J. Smith-Cameron has been cast in the limited series as Marian Proctor, "Maggie's elegant, older sister whose life in Charleston serves as a contrast to Maggie's rural Hampton existence. Marian provides Maggie with a vital outside perspective on the Murdaugh sphere of influence. " (Variety.com, 3/19)
UNTITLED POWER RANGERS PROJECT (Disney+) - Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are in talks to spearhead the proposed live-action take on the franchise, which is now set up at Disney+ and 20th Television. Said effort "will reinvent the franchise for a whole new generation of fans while delighting those who already know and love the world of Power Rangers." No other specifics were given. UNTITLED SNOWFALL SPIN-OFF PROJECT (FX) - The long-in-the-works spin-off series has officially been ordered to pilot. Original series alums Gail Bean's Wanda Bell-Simmons and Isaiah John's Leon Simmons will topline the project: "Set in 90s Los Angeles soon after the end of the original series, a recovering addict (Bean) strives to take West Coast rap mainstream despite potential infighting from a harrowing gang war." Malcolm Spellman remains behind the hour with Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Julie DeJoie, Michael London and Trevor Engelson also executive producing for FX Productions. UNTITLED TRACY MORGAN PROJECT (NBC) - Precious Way and Jalyn Hall have been added to the comedy pilot. Way will portray Brina, "Reggie's loving and supportive fiancée who sees the documentary as an opportunity to advance her stardom"; while Hall is Carmelo, "Reggie and Monica's son, a high schooler who has grown up in the shadow of Reggie's football career." W, THE (Peacock, New!) - Carly Mensch, Liz Flahive, and Tori Collins are developing a new comedy at the streamer which "follows a hot-shot rookie WNBA player and her inexperienced agent navigating the wild ups and downs of the world of women's professional basketball." Two-time WNBA All-Star Chiney Ogwumike and her longtime business partner and agent, Allison Galer, are also among the auspices. The group will executive produce alongside Helen Estabrook, Lajoie St. George, and Jodi Hildebrand for Universal Television, Glamour Studios and Victorious. (Deadline.com, 3/18)
YOUR SECOND WIFE (Max, New!) - Jamie Rosengard has sold a "soapy, erotic thriller series" to the streamer: "Your Second Wife follows Liana Dunn, an aspiring actress-turned-high school theater teacher trapped in stasis on Long Island. Struggling to move on from the death of her sister, Liana cultivates an unconventional double life that proves too intoxicating for her to give up ... even when it places her life in imminent danger." The project, based on Laura van den Berg's short story of the same name, will also be executive produced by Michael Sugar, Ashley Zalta, Margaux Swerdloff, Adele Lim, Naia Cucukov, and Jessica Rothe for Sugar23, 100 Tigers and Lil' Situation.
