MTV Greenlights TV's Longest Running Reality Competition Series "The Challenge" for Season 41
Fan Favorite Veterans CT Tamburello, Aneesa Ferreira and Leroy Garrett Set to Return This Summer
NEW YORK, NY (May 7, 2025) - On the heels of the monumental 40th season of The Challenge, MTV today announced that TV's longest running reality competition series has been renewed for a 41st season. The Challenge season 41 returns this summer featuring fan favorite veterans Aneesa Ferreira, Leroy Garrett, and CT Tamburello. Full cast and theme to be announced at a later date.
The series that invented the reality competition genre continues to be a ratings juggernaut for MTV with The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras delivering the biggest share in the last 4 years, up 16% from last season.

The Challenge was created for MTV by Bunim/Murray Productions, part of Banijay Americas. Julie Pizzi, Justin Booth and Jacob Lane serve as Executive Producers for Bunim/Murray, with Diego Amson and Brad Tiemann serving as Co-Executive Producers, Joe Awgul as Supervising Producer and Margaret Morales as Producer. Dan Caster and Leanne Mucci serve as Executive Producers with Angela Liao serving as Executive in Charge of Production for MTV.
