NEW YORK - May 14, 2025 - Prime Video will kick off the 20th season of Thursday Night Football (TNF) at iconic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, when the Packers host the Commanders on September 11. It's the first of an outstanding slate of TNF games that is loaded with divisional matchups and culminates in prime time on Christmas when the Chiefs face the Broncos at Arrowhead. The fourth season of exclusive coverage on Prime Video also features a Black Friday Football matchup between the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and Bears from Philadelphia, a blockbuster Cowboys-Lions showdown on December 4, the return of TNF's all-star lineup of on-air talent, and a new set of AI-powered features that bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

The TNF schedule showcases 10 divisional matchups, including classic rivalries between the 49ers and Rams, Steelers and Bengals, Bills and Dolphins, as well as Saquon Barkley and the Eagles' visit to MetLife in a Week 6 game against the Giants. In addition, TNF on Prime will feature big time cross-divisional matchups, including Lions vs. Cowboys, Bills vs. Texans, and Ravens vs. Dolphins.

"Heading into our fourth season of exclusive NFL coverage, we could not be more excited about the schedule of games that continues to get better every year, and the overall growth trajectory of Thursday Night Football," said Jay Marine, VP and global head of sports and ads, Prime Video. "We're following two consecutive seasons of double-digit viewership increases, and the quality of our production is terrific, with the best on-air talent and AI-powered innovations that elevate the viewing experience for fans."

Legendary play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and multi-Emmy-winning analyst Kirk Herbstreit return to call the main broadcast each week, with sideline reports from Kaylee Hartung. TNF host Charissa Thompson, along with Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, Richard Sherman and Taylor Rooks comprise TNF's pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage.

The NFL uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to power its schedule-making process each year, running high-performance computing workloads to find the best possible schedule. There are approximately a quadrillion possible schedule combinations each NFL season and over 26,000 factors to take in to consideration, such as stadium availability, travel requirements, prime-time games, competitive fairness, and division rivalries.

TNF cemented its position as one of the most valuable franchises in sports media last season, registering its second consecutive season of double-digit, year-over-year audience growth. Prime Video's across-the-board viewership gains were highlighted by best-ever audience figures in the 19-year history of TNF within all key adult demographics under the age of 55. Since TNF's inaugural season on Prime Video in 2022, viewership of the package has grown +38%.

TNF earned a total of 12 nominations for the 46th annual Sports Emmy(R) Awards, the most in the three-year history of the package, and the most among any NFL media franchise. TNF's on-site wraparound programming, led by TNF Tonight and TNF Nightcap, earned its first-ever nomination for Outstanding Studio Show - Weekly. Black Friday Football also secured nominations for both Outstanding Interactive Experience and Outstanding Editing - Short Form. TNF's on-air talent was also recognized, with analysts Ryan Fitzpatrick and Richard Sherman each earning a nomination for Outstanding Emerging Personality, while Kaylee Hartung earned her second-straight nomination for Outstanding Personality/Sideline Reporter. The winners will be announced on May 20 at the Sports Emmy Awards ceremony in New York.

Viewers in the U.S. can watch Thursday Night Football and Black Friday Football on Prime Video in their living rooms on connected televisions, streaming media players, or set-top boxes by using the Prime Video app, which is also available on mobile. In addition, viewers can stream online on Amazon, and on phones and tablets with NFL+. Each Thursday Night Football game also streams live on Twitch and is available on over-the-air TV stations in the two home markets of the competing teams, as well as in Spanish language on Prime Video. Coverage kicks off each Thursday with TNF Tonight at 7 p.m. EDT.
