NBC DEVELOPING NEW PRIMETIME FORMAT "WIN WIN!"
Co-Produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio and Hello Dolly
NEW YORK - May 20, 2025 - NBC announced today that it has secured US rights for the new primetime game show "Win Win!" marking the first international expansion of the format. Currently in development, the new show will be produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS), a division of Universal Studio Group (USG), and Hello Dolly.
"Win Win!" is the brand-new primetime entertainment format where every prize won in the studio will also be won by someone playing at home: it's a "Win Win!" Contestants battle it out by answering questions based on a unique nationwide survey. Every episode features multiple winners and huge life-changing decisions. The show builds to a dramatic final episode where one contestant is guaranteed to win a jackpot. This dynamic mix of strategy, trivia and high-stakes decision-making promises thrilling gameplay both in the studio and at home.
Created by Hello Dolly and recently commissioned by ITV in the UK, the format is licensed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal Studio Group (USG). The format sees 40 contestants playing in studio, with viewers at home able to play along via an app. The format gives viewers the chance to win some epic prizes from the comfort of their sofa ... and the opportunity to compete for a jackpot at the end of the series.
"'Win Win!" is a fresh, high-stakes format that delivers on its name by giving viewers and contestants alike the chance to walk away winners," said Sharon Vuong, Executive Vice President, Unscripted Programming, NBC. "We look forward to partnering with Universal Television Alternative Studio and Hello Dolly to further develop this uniquely rewarding game show for our American audience."
"This is exactly the type of format that defines our ambitions as a studio," said Toby Gorman, President, Universal Television Alternative Studio. "It delivers on every level - irresistible gameplay, genuine heart and a unique viewing experience that will keep audiences on the edge of their seat. It has found its perfect home at NBC, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with our partners at NBCUniversal Formats and Hello Dolly to develop this series in the US."
Hello Dolly co-founders Victoria Ashbourne and Stuart Shawcross said: "We're excited to be working with UTAS to bring this unique, exciting format to US audiences. NBC has a great reputation for launching big, noisy, family-friendly shows, so 'Win Win!' should fit right in!"
