'Fúria', the New Netflix Series Starring Vinicius Neri, Fabio Lago and Alice Carvalho, Starts Shooting in Rio de Janeiro

São Paulo, June 18, 2025 - Shooting starts this month for Fúria, the new Brazilian Netflix series. This action-packed production, filled with mystery and fights, stars Vinicius Neri and features Fabio Lago, Alice Carvalho, Eduardo Moscovis, Cláudia Raia, MC Cabelinho, and Bianca Comparato.

The plot centers on a young man who is rescued from the brink of death by a martial arts coach. With no memory of who he is, he is given the name Marcelo and a new purpose - to make a name for himself in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). As he uncovers more about his past, Marcelo finds himself entangled in a web of crime and secrets that could put his life - and his coach's - at risk.

"Fúria isn't just a series about the world of fighting - it's a powerful drama that will have viewers entranced from start to finish," says director José Henrique Fonseca, who also directed Good Morning, Verônica, available on Netflix. Fúria was created by Igor Verde and Gustavo Bragança. The executive producers are Eduardo Pop, Fernanda Laignier, and José Henrique Fonseca, and it is a co-production between Zola Filmes and Netflix.
