CAN THEY KEEP THE LOVE ALIVE?

A NEW SEASON OF "LIFE AFTER LOCKUP" PREMIERES FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 AT 8 PM ET/PT ON WE TV

New York, NY - June 26, 2025 - The love story continues as We TV announces fan-favorite series, Life After Lockup, will return with ten must-see 90-minute episodes on Friday, August 1, at 8 PM ET/PT. Episodes will air weekly on We TV and stream on ALLBLK and AMC+.

Life After Lockup follows seven former inmates and their significant others from the hit series Love After Lockup and Love During Lockup as they navigate their emotional journey to keep their love alive and stay free. These couples must build and strengthen their relationships in the face of stringent parole restrictions, overcoming battles with addiction and past childhood trauma. They face the growing pains of love, family and marriage while juggling the challenges of being on the outside. Despite these obstacles, can the couples stay together and continue to build a life outside of the prison walls?

MEET THE COUPLES:

Brooke & JK (Aquilla, TX)

At the end of Love After Lockup, Brooke and JK were at a crossroads after JK visited his ex, Alex. Now, a few weeks later, Brooke is dealing with mixed feelings... and mixed results. With four positive and two negative pregnancy tests and a secret of her own, Brooke heads to break the news to JK, who questions everything from Brooke's claims to his own involvement.

Will & Courtnee (Portland, OR & Sacramento, CA)

Courtnee and Will's whirlwind romance culminated in tying the knot just one day after her release. But since then, their love has been tested by distance and temptation. Courtnee finds herself back in jail in Portland and their interstate compact approval in jeopardy, all while Will is back in Sacramento. With a marriage still binding them, Will and Courtnee face a tough decision: Is divorce their only option, or will they find a way back to each other?

LaTisha & Keith (Davenport, IA)

The last time we saw LaTisha and Keith, Keith's release was put on hold due to confusion over his eligibility for early release. This season, as they experience life together in the free world for the first time, they face new obstacles from court hearings to figuring out how to be a family.

Zeruiah & Troy (Syracuse, NY)

Troy and Zeruiah have settled comfortably into married life, but their happily ever after is strained with family conflict. He's started a new life in Rochester with his wife, but Troy's family desperately wants him back in Buffalo, leaving Troy caught in the middle. Troy heads to Buffalo without Zeruiah to reconnect with his family. Troy must also face his ex, Yona, to discuss the co-parenting of their daughter, Troii. Will Troy's efforts in Buffalo help mend relationships or cause a new rift?

Quiana, Damodrick & Jawalia (Lubbock, TX)

Since kicking him out for cheating with his ex Jawalia, Quiana and Damodrick have mostly reconciled their differences and moved back in together. Meanwhile, Jawalia continues to stir up drama, claiming Damodrick is unfaithful and accusing Quiana of spreading lies. Will Damodrick end up back in the arms of his ex, or will the promise ring he gave to Quiana last season turn into an engagement?

Bianca & Daniel (Scottsdale, AZ)

When we last saw Bianca and Daniel, she was hoping for an engagement ring but ended up with a promise ring instead. Now, both Bianca and Daniel find themselves slipping back into old habits, for better or for worse. Bianca starts to reclaim parts of herself she lost as Daniel's sobriety slips and old warrants resurface, all while truly questioning their relationship.

Justine & Michael (Las Vegas, NV)

After a challenging year navigating Justine's high-risk pregnancy, Michael and Justine have settled down as parents of nine. Now, Justine has a new project for them to tackle: a big fat Indian (and non-prison) wedding. But will their finances get in the way of her dreams?
