Prime Video Reveals Cast for "Every Year After"

"Every Year After" is based on the New York Times bestselling novel, Every Summer After by Carley Fortune

Culver City, CA-July 17, 2025-Today, Prime Video announced the cast for Every Year After the series based on Carley Fortune's bestselling novel Every Summer After. Sadie Soverall (Saltburn) is cast as "Percy," Matt Cornett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Summer of 69) is cast as "Sam," Aurora Perrineau (KAOS, Westworld) is cast as "Chantal," Abigail Cowen (Fate: The Winx Saga) is cast as "Delilah," Michael Bradway (Chicago Fire, Marked Men) is cast as "Charlie," and Joseph Chiu (Fear Street: Prom Queen, Motorheads) is cast as "Jordie." The Amazon Original Series, based on the New York Times bestselling novel, Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

Told over the course of six years and one week in Barry's Bay - the quintessential lake town - Every Year After is a romantic, nostalgic story of first loves and the people and choices that mark us forever.

Highlighted by British Vogue as "one of the most promising acting talents of the future," Sadie Soverall will next lead the fantasy thriller I Am A Monster for Iconoclast, starring alongside Havana Rose Liu. Directed by Leo Berne, the film follows Mila (Soverall), a teenager who, after the death of her mother, discovers she can see an invisible parasite that feeds on human sorrow. Sadie will star in the upcoming film CC: Emily, which is currently in production. She also starred in Channel 4's The Gathering, a gripping psychological drama from the producers of Line of Duty, where her performance as elite gymnast Jessica was part of what The Evening Standard called "killer performances from its young cast."

Her recent film credits include Emerald Fennell's critically acclaimed Saltburn for Amazon, where she appeared opposite Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan as Annabel, one of Felix and Oliver's Oxford classmates. Sadie also starred in Arcadian, a post-apocalyptic thriller alongside Nicolas Cage that premiered at SXSW, where critics praised her scene-stealing performance, with Screen Daily and The Hollywood Reporter both singling her out as a standout. For television, Sadie is well-known for her hugely successful debut and standout leading role as Beatrix in Netflix's Fat: The Winx Saga, with Wonderland praising her seamless transition into her first leading role, showcasing "a natural ability most can only dream of."

Alongside her screen work, Sadie made her "brilliant" West End debut in 2024 in Benedict Andrews' production of The Cherry Orchard at The Donmar Warehouse, playing Anya opposite Nina Hoss. The production was described as "utterly captivating" and Sadie went on to reprise her role in the Broadway transfer earlier this year.

Matt Cornett is best known for his breakout role of "E.J." on Disney+'s Emmy-nominated series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Most recently, he starred in American High's Summer of 69 opposite an all-star cast including Chole Fineman, Charlie Day, and Liza Koshy. The film premiered at SXSW 2025, where Deadline called it a "hilarious tribute to classic teen film" and Awards Buzz highlighted Cornett's performance as "charming." Upon release on Hulu, it reached the No. 1 spot on the streamer's Top Movies list.

His additional credits include the upcoming indie comedy Bad Counselors, Zombies 3 - the third installment of the hit Disney film franchise, Zombies, Bella and The Bulldogs, Life in Pieces, Game Shakers, and Criminal Minds.

Aurora Perrineau is currently filming Prime Video's Every Year After. She can also be seen starring in the Netflix series KAOS from Charlie Covell. Aurora appeared in Ava Duvernay's When They See Us (Netflix) and Season 4 of HBO's Westworld. Aurora also appeared in the Fox series Prodigal Son, alongside Michael Sheen and Tom Payne.

Previous television credits include Blumhouse's Into the Dark (Hulu), The Carmichael Show (NBC), and Chasing Life (ABC).

On the feature side, Aurora can be seen in Blumhouse's Truth Or Dare starring Lucy Hale and Tyler Posey, and in the independent feature BOO! produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones. Her previous film credits include appearances in Morten Tyldum's Passengers starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, and Drake Doremus' Equals starring Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult.

Aurora made her break out as "Shana" in Jem and the Holograms opposite Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, and Hayley Kiyoko.

A natural talent with a striking presence, actress Abigail Cowen is carving out a dynamic path in film and television through magnetic performances and rich storytelling.

Currently, Abigail can be seen in the based on a true story/psychological thriller The Ritual, starring opposite Al Pacino and Dan Stevens for director David Midell (Nightlights) and in director Hala Matar's feature debut, Electra, a stylized film about a jet-setting escapade. Abigail is also set to star in several upcoming independent features, including Heavenly Wickedness for director Daniel Carberry, Summerhouse, opposite Malcom McDowell and Jacob Ward for director Ed Kaplan, and Daisy for director Nikhil Melnechuk (Jack and Jill).

Michael Bradway grew up in Boca Raton, FL. He followed his dream to be an actor to Miami where he had a successful modeling career and graduated from NYFA South Beach for acting. After moving to Los Angeles, he signed with a major management company and shortly after he booked roles in films like Marked Men directed by Nick Cassavetes and Safe House directed by Jamie Marshall.

Michael has previously been seen on the NBC series Chicago Fire.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Joseph Chiu is a Canadian-Chinese actor, who was born in Vancouver, BC but primarily raised in Beijing and Hong Kong. Joseph found himself back in Canada when he enrolled at the University of Toronto. It was there he rediscovered his passion for the arts and began to audition for acting work while he was taking his college courses.

He went on to book roles in Netflix's Fear Street: Prom Queens and Prime Video's new series Motorheads while also recently graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Drama.

He currently resides in Toronto.
