FOX NATION GREENLIGHTS TWO NEW SEASONS OF "GOD. FAMILY. FOOTBALL."

Season Three of the Hit Docuseries Spotlights Faith, Family, and Friday Night Lights at Evangel Christian Academy

NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2025 -- FOX Nation has renewed its hit series "God. Family. Football." for two more seasons, announced Gavin Hadden, senior vice president of the platform. Season three will premiere on Thursday, August 7, with eight new episodes airing weekly and season four will follow come fall 2026.

"God. Family. Football." follows legendary coach and pastor Denny Duron as he continues his mission to rebuild the storied football program at Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. With high expectations and higher emotional stakes, this season follows an underdog team of young athletes led by rising stars both on the field and in life.

In making the announcement, Hadden said, "This series continues to resonate with our subscribers because it is about more than just the final score of the game. It pulls back the emotional layers and tells the stories that are unfolding between the locker room and home."

Duron added, "God. Family. Football. is a way of life! As the head coach of the Evangel Eagles my goal every single day is to instill faith in the heart of each player and that putting God first and family second releases us to be champions, regardless of the final score."

In the upcoming season, viewers will get an inside look at a team shaped by adversity, mentorship, and faith - all told through the lens of Coach Duron, whose dual role as spiritual shepherd and head coach remains the emotional core of the series.

This season introduces Peyton "Pop" Houston, the #1-ranked quarterback in the class of 2027, who makes national headlines by breaking a decades-old high school passing record. Alongside him is Damari "DayDay" Drake, a standout player whose emotional arc anchors the season, including a powerful reunion with his father after years of incarceration. The season also features beloved assistant coach Fabian Carter, whose humor, and heart continue to bring discipline and depth to the Eagles' locker room.

The series was created by Aaron Benward and is produced by Watershed Motion Pictures. Executive producers include Benward, Jared Goetz, Matt Woolsey, Cody Bess, Scott Brignac, and Cliff Young.

Episode 1: "A New Foundation"

Coach Denny Duron starts the season with a new team of young players. With the top sophomore quarterback in the country, there are high hopes the Eagles can overcome their underdog status.

Episode 2: "Building Blocks"

Following a loss to Neville, Coach Denny looks to inspire the team ahead of matchups with Natchitoches and Byrd High. Off the field, players begin to face personal and physical challenges.

Episode 3: "Moments Without Hope"

With a tough stretch of games ahead, pressure mounts for Defensive Coordinator Josh Alexander. Meanwhile, a surprise visit from a beloved former player and LSU stand out, Gabriel Reliford, lifts the team's spirits.

Episode 4: "History in the Making"

After three straight losses, Coach Josh questions his abilities. But hope returns as quarterback Pop Houston delivers a record-breaking performance against Captain Shreve.

Episode 5: "Battlefield of the Mind"

Reeling from a devastating loss, Denny has to get out of town in order to regroup. Pop receives news he's set the national passing record, while the coaches reflect on love, marriage, and perseverance.

Episode 6: "No Distractions"

With Homecoming festivities in full swing, Coach Denny must keep the team focused as they face Houghton in a must-win matchup to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Episode 7: "Thirty-Seven"

With two games remaining, the Eagles must win out. Pop's leadership is tested under pressure, and the team receives a powerful pre-game message from NFL MVP Shaun Alexander.

Episode 8: "Just Keep Playing"

Evangel's playoff hopes hinge on a last-second field goal. Off the field, Coach Josh and BoDixie's wedding plans face unexpected weather - and the team prepares for its biggest challenge yet.
