Available to Stream Next Day on Hallmark+ STUDIO CITY, CA - August 12, 2025 - A luxury island retreat spirals into suspicion and danger when Elizabeth Henstridge (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Charlie Weber (How to Get Away with Murder) star in Mystery Island: Play for Keeps, the third installment of the popular mystery movie series premiering Sunday, August 17th (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. The film will also be available to stream the following day on Hallmark's streaming service, Hallmark+.
Emilia's (Henstridge) past returns with a vengeance when her ex-fiancé, Franklin Trask (Kris Mochrie, Ordinary Lies), rents out the island for a VIP weekend with his wife, football-star brother, and high-powered finance crew. A suspiciously quick game solve raises red flags - but the real shock comes the following morning, when a guest turns up dead and Emilia becomes the prime suspect. As tensions rise, Emilia and Jason (Weber) find themselves on opposite sides of the investigation... while Franklin seizes the chance to reignite old flames.
Mystery Island: Play for Keeps is from Cartel Pictures LLC. Nancy Bennett, Stan Spry, and Eric Woods are executive producers, with Anthony Fankhauser serving as co-executive producer. The film is directed by Steven R. Monroe from a script by John Christian Plummer.
