Campaign Spot Debuts Today (Click Here)

LOS ANGELES - Today, FOX Sports announces Emmy(R)-winning actor, writer & director John Turturro will star in a bold new creative campaign for BIG NOON SATURDAY, the network's flagship game of the week featuring the biggest rivalries in college football.

Capturing the intense energy of college football through the lens of passionate fandom, the promotional campaign "It All Goes Down at Noon" debuts today Friday, Sept. 12 across FOX Sports' social platforms and in the FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL FRIDAY matchup between Kansas State and Arizona at 9:00 PM ET on FOX.

"At FOX Sports, BIG NOON SATURDAY has always embraced the fun, larger-than-life energy of college football, and John Turturro brings incredible depth to this fanatical character showcasing what makes college football fandom so special," said Bill Battin, SVP of On-Air Promotions, FOX Sports. "This campaign represents everything we want FOX Sports to stand for - bold, authentic storytelling that connects fans, and combined with our world-class creative team, we're delivering something that will resonate with audiences nationwide."

When it comes to college football on FOX, it all goes down at noon. It's just when things get settled once and for all, when the sun is highest in the sky. This unique campaign invites audiences to experience BIG NOON SATURDAY through Turturro's perspective as an obsessive, excited, compulsive character who lives, eats and breathes every aspect of BIG NOON in its entirety. Each spot will follow Turturro as he infiltrates the world of college football on FOX, from watching the game from his lair in a college football Jumbotron and weaving his way through a bustling stadium to stalking FOX Sports lead play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson and a pre-dawn re-enactment of the network's pregame show BIG NOON KICKOFF.

Additional spots for the "It All Goes Down at Noon" campaign will rollout throughout the college football season across FOX Sports' host of platforms and in its signature events and premier properties including FOX NFL, FOX MLB, MLB Postseason, and MLB World Series.

"As a passionate sports fan who suffers the slings and arrows of my favorite sports teams, I enjoyed partnering with FOX Sports," said Turturro. "We've all been that person - riding the highs and lows, hanging on every play. Any sports fan has felt that."

A multi-hyphenate artist, Turturro has captivated audiences for decades with iconic performances in films such as "Barton Fink," "Do the Right Thing," and "The Big Lebowski," while also making his mark behind the camera with distinctive directorial projects like "Mac," "Fading Gigolo," and "The Jesus Rolls." He currently stars as Irving Bailiff in Apple TV+'s acclaimed series "Severance," a role that recently earned him his second Emmy nomination for the series. Turturro previously won an Emmy for "Monk" and has also been recognized for his work in "The Night Of" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," cementing his place as one of the most versatile and celebrated actors of his generation.

The creative campaign is produced in collaboration with FOX Sports Marketing. The spots are developed and written by Gary Van Dzura, MullenLowe Creative Director and longtime FOX Sports collaborator, who teams up with award-winning commercial director Brian Billow and iconic cinematographer Robert Elswit ("Ripley," and "There Will Be Blood"). This marks the third campaign Billow has helmed for FOX Sports, following his direction of a 2023 FOX NFL series of ads featuring the network's lead broadcast team.

BIG NOON SATURDAY is FOX Sports' flagship game of the week and college football's most-watched window in three of the past four seasons. Showcasing championship contenders, historic rivalries, and games that shape the college football landscape, BIG NOON SATURDAY continues to be the home of the most riveting college football matchup of the weekend.
