BAFTA-Winning Drama "Blue Lights" Returns for Season Three on BritBox November 13

BAFTA-WINNING DRAMA "BLUE LIGHTS" RETURNS FOR SEASON THREE ON BRITBOX NOVEMBER 13

First Look Images Now Available for Season Three of the Acclaimed Belfast Police Drama

· Season three of reigning BAFTA-winning police drama Blue Lights will premiere November 13 on BritBox. One of New York Times' "Best Shows of 2024" and heralded as "...Belfast's answer to The Wire... " (Los Angeles Times) episodes of the new season will drop weekly with the finale on December 18.

· First look images of the highly anticipated series reveal new looks at fan-favorite returning characters Grace (Siân Brooke), Annie (Katherine Devlin), Tommy (Nathan Braniff), Stevie (Martin McCann), and Shane (Fran Blake) as well as new faces, private members club owner Dana Morgan (Cathy Tyson, Boiling Point, Dune: Prophecy) and intelligence officer Paul 'Colly' Collins (Michael Smiley, Bad Sisters, Censor).

· Two years into their jobs as response officers Grace, Annie and Tommy are accustomed to life under the blue lights. But their work will take them into a sinister world hidden behind the veneer of middle-class life, the world of the accountants and lawyers who facilitate organised crime. The old political and criminal order has gone and a new global gang rule Belfast, bringing danger closer to home for our officers than ever before.

· The 6 x 60' series is co-created, written and executive produced by Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, co-created and produced by Stephen Wright of Two Cities Television and co-created and co-produced by Louise Gallagher of Gallagher Films with support from Northern Ireland Screen. The producer for season three is Amanda Black (World on Fire, Marcella, Blue Lights S2), episodes 1-3 are directed by Jack Casey and episodes 4-6 are directed by Angela Griffin. The series was commissioned by Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama. The executive producers are Stephen Wright (Two Cities Television), Louise Gallagher (Gallagher Films), Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson and the executive producer for the BBC is Nick Lambon. BBC Studios is handling global sales.

· Seasons one and two are available now on BritBox. Season one was the #2 new series to premiere on BritBox in North America in 2024.
