CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA-October 15, 2025 - Kathleen Madigan returns to the stage with a new comedy special on Prime Video, Kathleen Madigan: The Family Thread. The one-hour special will premiere November 21, 2025 on Prime Video.
She's the fun lady at the end of the bar with a lot of opinions and only half of the information. Comedian Kathleen Madigan's new special explores gambling as math education, Midwest pioneers, her four cats, and aging parents. Her sharp wit tackles modern church competition while showcasing her mastery of crafting perfect jokes.
Kathleen Madigan has released six one-hour stand-up specials including her most recent 2023 special, Hunting Bigfoot, on Amazon Prime. The special won the Interrobangs's 2023 Comedy Special of the Year as voted on by fans. Her previous special, Bothering Jesus, released on NETFLIX, became the highest selling album and most played comedy album on streaming services since 2015.
Over her career, she squeezed in over 40 appearances on late-night & day-time talk shows, appeared on Comedians in Cars getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld and has multiple comedy specials airing on Amazon, NETFLIX, MAX, SHOWTIME and Comedy Central.
In 2020, taking advantage of time off touring on the road because of the pandemic, Madigan created "Madigan's Pubcast" which has garnered over 10 million streams and over 200 episodes. She shares her thoughts on everything from Taylor Swift to Area 51.
