Viewers get an up-close perspective of each case using raw, unfiltered footage from body cams at the crime scene, surveillance cameras, and interrogation rooms. In the season premiere, Head in a Bag, a mysterious trash bag turns up in a truck on a rainy night in a parking lot in Arkansas. Police come to the scene and find Connie Goodwin beheaded, and go into overdrive to find out who killed the grandmother and how her head ended up in a truck.
