USA SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2025-26 ATLANTIC 10 COLLEGE BASKETBALL SCHEDULE & COMMENTATORS
USA Network to Air More Than 40 Men's and Women's Games this Season, Featuring Regular Season and A-10 Championship Games

USA Sports is New Brand and Division Name for VERSANT's Sports Portfolio Across USA Network and Golf Channel
STAMFORD, Conn. - Dec. 1, 2025 - USA Sports will present 40+ Atlantic 10 college basketball games this season with more than 25 men's and women's regular season games and multiple men's and women's Atlantic 10 Championship games airing live on USA Network.
Beginning this weekend, USA Network will regularly present Atlantic 10 regular season games on Saturdays and Sundays, often featuring doubleheaders and tripleheaders throughout the day. The 2025-26 season marks the fifth consecutive year of live Atlantic 10 basketball on USA Network.
On the men's side, Davidson and Richmond will each play a team-high five times on USA Network this season. George Mason (8-0) currently sits atop the A-10, while the conference also boasts four one-loss teams in the early part of the season, including St. Bonaventure (7-1), Davidson (6-1), Richmond (6-1), and Saint Louis (6-1).
The Atlantic 10 men's regular season schedule on USA Network tips off with a non-conference doubleheader this Saturday, Dec. 6 as Richmond hosts Old Dominion at 12:30 p.m. ET and Loyola Chicago hosts Princeton at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Last year's Atlantic 10 men's conference champions VCU, who received multiple votes in the 2025-26 Associated Press preseason Top 25 poll, lead off a tripleheader on the first Saturday of conference play on Jan. 3, as the Rams visit Duquesne at Noon ET, followed by La Salle at George Washington (2 p.m. ET) and Rhode Island at George Mason (4 p.m. ET).
The men's regular season schedule on USA Network concludes with a tripleheader on Saturday, March 7, capped by 2024-25 co-regular season champions George Mason hosting Saint Louis at 4 p.m. ET.
USA Network and CNBC will present live coverage of ten Atlantic 10 Men's Championship games from the first round through the quarterfinals (March 11-13).
Beginning in January, USA Network will present multiple Atlantic 10 women's regular season games, headlined by Rhode Island hosting Duquesne on Sunday, Jan. 18, at Noon ET.
On Saturday, March 6, four Atlantic 10 Women's Championship quarterfinals games will air live on USA Network, the USA Network app, and CNBC.
Richmond (6-2) received multiple votes in the most recent AP women's Top 25 poll.
USA Sports was recently announced as the new brand and division name for VERSANT's sports portfolio across USA Network, Golf Channel, and CNBC. Since August, VERSANT has announced new media rights agreements with the WNBA, the United States Golf Association (USGA), the Pac-12, and League One Volleyball (LOVB).
STUDIO AND GAME COMMENTATORS
Studio coverage on USA Network will be hosted by Lisa Kerney alongside analyst Dalen Cuff. Kerney, a former college basketball player at Lynn University, has previously hosted SportsCenter on ESPN and served as a host and reporter at MLB Network, FanDuel TV, and more. Cuff, a guard at Columbia from 2002-06, has served as a college basketball analyst at ESPN, ACC Network, The Field of 68, and more.
The broadcasting pairs of Steve Burkowski (play-by-play) and Tim McCormick (analyst) and Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and John Giannini (analyst) will call the majority of USA Sports' A-10 matchups this season.
A longtime play-by-play announcer for Golf Channel, Burkowski previously served as the play-by-play announcer for the University of South Carolina's women's basketball team and has called A-10 and Big Ten college basketball games for NBC Sports, while McCormick, the No. 12 overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft out of Michigan, played eight seasons in the NBA and has called college basketball games, including the A-10, for NBC Sports and ESPN.
Schlanger has been a play-by-play announcer for more than 30 different sports for various networks, including calling Atlantic 10 basketball for NBC Sports, and Giannini, a head coach in the Atlantic 10 at LaSalle for 14 seasons - including leading the Explorers to the Sweet 16 in 2013 - has served as an analyst on A-10 and college basketball games since 2018.
Additionally, play-by-play voices Jack Benjamin, Mike Corey, Joe Castellano, and Jason Knapp, and game analysts Zendon Hamilton, Edona Thaqi, and Derek Whittenberg will contribute to this season's coverage on USA Network.
