Renovation Superstars Drew and Jonathan Scott Return In New Episodes of 'Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers' Premiering Monday, Dec. 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT
WHAT: Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers
WHERE/WHEN: Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers premieres Monday, Dec. 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.
WHO: Home renovation and real estate superstars Drew and Jonathan Scott will help more people love their home again in eight new episodes of HGTV's Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers. Each episode will spotlight Drew and Jonathan - who attracted over 9.1 million viewers across linear and streaming to the series' first run - as they fix problematic properties for frustrated families when moving isn't an option. They'll confer with clients to understand their homes' shortfalls, make a game plan to address what's not working for them, and then stay within budget to tackle seemingly insurmountable renovation challenges and transform the dysfunctional houses into harmonious places. Providing reassurance and encouragement along the way, the Brothers will employ their vision and expertise to enhance the function, floorplan and amenities in the homes - in hopes the updates also relieve the stress, anxiety and chaos caused by bad design.
In the Dec. 29 premiere, Drew and Jonathan will meet Warren and Tricia whose poorly renovated house is in the perfect location but is unsafe and unsuitable for their daily family life. The Scott Brothers will discover a cramped and non-functional layout, such as a narrow galley kitchen and a front door that hits the dining table, and, to the couple's surprise, many hidden issues when the walls come down, including water damage, mold and faulty electrical wiring. The duo will stretch the budget to not only give the family a healthy and solid home but also to incorporate a better flow with a new kitchen that boasts a large island and tons of storage, a dedicated dining room featuring a coffee bar and an outdoor living space that provides more square footage for entertaining.
Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment with Drew and Jonathan serving as executive producers.
