REELZ RENEWS HIT SERIES "ON PATROL: LIVE," ORDERS 90 NEW EPISODES

Network also Picks up 90 New Episodes of Lead-In "On Patrol: First Shift"

360 Total Hours of Original "OPL" Programming to air on REELZ this Year

(Albuquerque, NM) - Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - REELZ today announced it has renewed live hit documentary series On Patrol: Live for another year, ordering 90 new episodes - 270 live hours - from producer Half Moon Pictures. The network also ordered another 90 one-hour episodes of spin-off and OPL lead-in On Patrol: First Shift, extending the run of the franchise through January 2027.

Airing live every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm to 12am ET on REELZ, On Patrol: Live wrapped 2025 as TV's #1 live original entertainment program (Friday and Saturday nights[1]) with live weekend primetime viewership of the series growing 45% year-over-year2. The up-order comes on the heels of OPL's 300-episode milestone, celebrated last October, and 322 episodes aired to date.

"In today's fragmented media landscape, a pick-up of 90 episodes - 360 hours of live television - is virtually unheard of; yet REELZ has done this for four consecutive years as On Patrol: Live continues to deliver for the network and create one of the most engaged and loyal audiences in television," said REELZ CEO Stan E. Hubbard. "We couldn't be prouder to renew OPL through next January and bring viewers along for the ride."

Added On Patrol: Live Host and Executive Producer Dan Abrams, "OPL not only chronicles the experience of law enforcement on the job, in real time, the show continues to make a real difference with our 'Missing' and 'Be on the Lookout' segments. We get the word out every week about ongoing cases of missing kids and unsolved crimes. Between our viewers and our #OPNation social footprint, since our premiere in 2022 the show has helped return 48 missing people to their loves ones and provided tips to law enforcement that have led to the capture of 96 suspects. We're so grateful to our incredible audience and thrilled to be on REELZ for another year."

On Patrol: Live follows live news-gathering protocols as 50+ cameras in regions across the country document for viewers in real time the nightly work of law enforcement officers on patrol. Host Dan Abrams, alongside analysts Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff's Department in Columbia, South Carolina, Captain Tom Rizzo from the Howell Township Police Department in New Jersey, Sgt. Sean "Sticks" Larkin, retired Tulsa Police Department lieutenant with more than 25 years of service, and a rotating panel of experts provide minute-by-minute analysis and offer unique insight into the experiences of the men and women of law enforcement appearing on the show.

On Patrol: Live remains one of the most powerful social-first franchises on television with #OPNation fueling massive real-time engagement across platforms. Throughout 2025 the series consistently trended in the top five on X during its Friday and Saturday live airings, driving hundreds of millions of impressions and tens of millions of engagements across REELZ and OPL social channels. Video performance continued to surge across Facebook, Instagram and short-form platforms, reinforcing OPL's dominance in live, highly shareable cultural content. Across its run on REELZ, On Patrol: Live has generated billions of views across social media, underscoring its passionate fan base and unmatched ability to turn live television into a weekly social event. In just six months, the show's YouTube Channel has garnered 140K subscribers, reaching over 1 million unique viewers monthly and more than 17 million views since its launch in July 2025.

In addition to chronicling the work of law enforcement in real time, the show features "Missing" segments that air in conjunction with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Black and Missing Foundation (BAMFI). On Patrol: Live calls on the viewing public and OPL's very engaged and active social community, known as #OPNation, to reach out to NCMEC's and BAMFI's special hotlines, should they have any information related to the missing persons whose stories are highlighted on air. Segments are also shared via Twitter (@OfficialOPLive), Instagram (@officialoplive), TikTok (@onpatrolliveofficial) and Facebook (@ReelzOfficialOPLive).

On Patrol: Live airs live every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm to 12am ET on REELZ. On Patrol: First Shift airs prior to each live episode at 8pm ET, providing updates and perspective on previous episodes.

On Patrol: Live is produced by Half Moon Pictures for REELZ. Executive Producers are Dan Cesareo, John Zito, Lucilla D'Agostino, Paul Gordon, Joe Venafro and Dan Abrams.
