Hulu acquires stylish psychological thriller Watching You from ITV Studios

The Lingo Pictures Series is One of a Major Multi-Genre Package Deal Including Renewals for Love Island UK and Love Island Australia, Hell's Kitchen, Two Seasons of Malpractice, and a Five Title Collection From VICE.

LOS ANGELES, 28 January 2026 - ITV Studios today announces the sale of the compelling and stylish STAN Original thriller Watching You, from Lingo Pictures (After The Party, Prosper, Queen of Oz, part of ITV Studios) to Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in EMEA. The multi-territory deal which includes the UK was brokered by Jemma Harvey, SVP Global Content, ITV Studios. The series will premiere on Friday 20 February on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S. and on Disney+ in EMEA.

Additionally, Hulu has secured a substantial package of scripted and non-scripted titles from ITV Studios for U.S. audiences, including renewal deals for the insanely popular Love Island UK from Lifted Entertainment (I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island Games) and Motion Entertainment, a WPP Media Company and Love Island Australia, aswell as TV's hottest kitchen showdown Hell's Kitchenand the high-stakes hospitality drama Kitchen Nightmares from ITV America (Queer Eye, Love Island USA).

In addition to Watching You, Hulu has acquired the critically acclaimed thriller Malpractice from World Productions (Until I Kill You, Line of Duty, Vigil), and a substantial selection of classic viewing from ITV Studios' Agatha Christie collection including the much-loved female detective series Agatha Christie's Marple and Agatha Christie's Poirot as well as the classic murder mystery Sparkling Cyanide from Company Pictures (Wolf Hall, The Missing, The White Queen).

Hulu has also renewed their library from VICE: both seasons of Dark Side of Comedy featuring stories that expose the challenges facing some of comedy's funniest people; Dark Side of the 2000s, the series that delves into the decade's untold histories;; six seasons of Dark Side of the Ring, which dives into the stories of wrestling legends; and four seasons ofF*ck, That's Delicious, following the crew as they make their way through the world's most dangerous food. In addition to the renewals, Hulu will stream untold stories and scandals from MMA's icons in Dark Side of the Cage.

The package was brokered by Katie Buchanan, EVP Americas and Rob Kaplan, SVP U.S. & Latin America, for ITV Studios.

Watching You stars Aisha Dee (The Bold Type, Safe Home, Apple CIder Vinegar) in a stand out performance, as well as Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Luke Cook (Good Cop/Bad Cop, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina). The six-episode series, based on the best-selling novel The Last Guests by J.P. Pomare (The Clearing), is a taut, and irresistible thriller that tackles relevant, resonant questions about privacy, relationships, technology and human nature.

It follows Lina (Aisha Dee) who after a passionate one-night stand in a friend's rental property is horrified to discover her affair has been captured by cameras hidden in the apartment. Amid mounting threats and paranoia, she sets out to unmask an insidious voyeur, only to realise the threat is closer and more dangerous than she could have imagined. Fighting for her life, and those around her, Lina vows to bring down her tormentor no matter the cost.

Watching You is adapted for television by creators Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Dijk, produced by Lingo Pictures' Jason Stephens (After The Party, The Secrets She Keeps) and Bree-Anne Sykes (Critical Incident, Ghosts), and executive produced by Lingo Pictures' Helen Bowden (After The Party, The Secrets She Keeps). Directed by Peter Salmon (After the Party, INSiDE) and Sian Davies (Black Snow, The Twelve). Watching You is a STAN Original Series and is produced in association with and internationally distributed by ITV Studios, of which Lingo Pictures is part.
