Giovanna Grigio Stars in 'Os 12 Signos de Valentina', a New Series From Netflix Now Being Filmed in São Paulo

São Paulo, February 2, 2026 - Fans, rejoice: filming of The 12 Signs of Valentina, a Netflix series based on the book by Ray Tavares, is in full swing! The lead role will be played by Giovanna Grigio (Rebelde, 2022). The actress stars as Valentina, a young woman who, after being betrayed by her boyfriend, blames the breakup on astrological incompatibility and decides to go about her revenge methodically. The mission? To go out with one guy from each zodiac sign and give a detailed tell-all of her dates and experiences on a livestream. The plan seems perfect, until she falls in love with someone who has no astrological sign, something not even the horoscope could have predicted!

The adaptation features a script by Ray Tavares, in partnership with Bia Crespo, with direction by Carol Durão and production by Tiago Mello. After working as a writer on Back to 15, Tavares returns to the world of literary adaptations, this time with a story of her own creation: a narrative that blends romance, revenge, self-discovery, and astrology, written to speak directly to young audiences.

In addition to Grigio, the cast also includes Jessica Marques, Manu Morelli, Larissa Bocchino, Lucas Leto, Pedro Ottoni, Suzana Pires, Ana Hikari, and Portuguese actor José Condessa, from the Netflix hit series Turn of the Tide, now in its second season. Actors Augusto Trainotti, Caio Horowicz, Dan Ferreira, Gabriel Santana, and Igor Fernandez make special appearances.

Produced by Boutique Filmes, the series is being filmed at several famous landmarks across São Paulo, which becomes the backdrop for this chaotic and entertaining journey. The 12 Signs of Valentina is set to arrive on screens later in 2026.
