ID SETS MARCH PREMIERE DATE FOR POWERFUL, NEW "EVIL LIVES HERE" SPINOFF SERIES

"EVIL LIVES HERE: MY CHILD THE KILLER" Premieres Tuesday, March 31 at 9/8c

(New York, NY) - For more than 150 episodes, Investigation Discovery's long-running series, EVIL LIVES HERE, has given voice to the complex stories of individuals whose loved ones committed heinous crimes, showing how their lives were forever changed through emotional, first-person interviews. Continuing the series commitment to elevating these stories, ID announced today the forthcoming premiere of EVIL LIVES HERE: MY CHILD THE KILLER, a powerful, new spin off series which will explore the stories of parents whose children have grown up to have committed horrifying crimes. EVIL LIVES HERE: MY CHILD THE KILLER will premiere Tuesday, March 31 at 9/8c on ID, with new episodes airing weekly. Episodes will be available to stream on HBO Max.

An impactful and emotionally charged expansion of the original series, EVIL LIVES HERE: MY CHILD THE KILLER will center on parents who have been forced to confront the unthinkable truth: the child they loved and trusted has grown into a monster. Through intimate, first-person interviews with these parents, the series will navigate these devastating stories, showcasing the heartbreak, the reckoning and, in some cases, the forgiveness these parents grapple with in the wake of their children's horrific actions. From a shattered mother who is haunted by what she could have done differently to a father who must come to terms with the reality that his son is a convicted serial killer, EVIL LIVES HERE: MY CHILD THE KILLER showcases the dark and emotional reality of how these individual's actions have not only devastated their communities, but their families as well.

In the season premiere, Drive to Kill, airing Tuesday, March 31 at 9/8c: when Dawn saw her baby boy, Justyn, she felt a love she never thought possible. Her tiny newborn had saved her life, and now she vows to give him the love, support, and care he'd need to grow up healthy and happy. But Dawn quickly finds that motherhood is not what she expected... and that her son is not a normal boy. She notices he is dark and detached, and occasionally, he'd reveal to her fantasies of violence towards his own family. She begins to wonder if her once-happy, sweet boy is evil, but she could never imagine the true terror her son would become as an adult.
