The limited series adaptation from Jack Thorne, the Emmy-winning co-creator of Adolescence.

· Today, Netflix announced that the acclaimed series, LORD OF THE FLIES, will premiere on May 4. All episodes will be available to members in the United States. The series is created and written by Emmy-winner Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Enola Holmes), with Marc Munden (The Mark of Cain, National Treasure) serving as Director. The series is created and written for the screen by Emmy-winner Jack Thorne, the Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics' Choice and PGA Award-winning co-creator of Adolescence (Adolescence, Enola Holmes), with Marc Munden (The Mark of Cain, National Treasure) serving as Director, with music by Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer, Kara Talve (Bleeding Fingers Music) and Cristobal Tapia de Veer.

· Logline: Innocence descends into savagery when a group of English schoolboys becomes desert island castaways in the first television adaptation of William Golding's landmark dystopian classic.
