SERIES PREMIERES TUESDAY, MAY 12TH AT 10PM

New York, NY - April 15, 2026 - A&E's new docuseries "Squatters" follows Flash Shelton, and his team as they tackle high-stakes, fast-moving, and often volatile situations to help homeowners reclaim their property. In the tradition of the network's multiple Emmy-winning series, "Intervention", this new series lifts the veil on a critical social issue facing America today. "Squatters" sheds light on the complex legal challenges surrounding property rights and showcases Shelton's unconventional strategies to resolve these conflicts. "Squatters" premieres with back-to-back episodes starting Tuesday, May 12th at 10pm and 10:30pm ET/PT.

Shelton's journey began with a personal crisis in 2019, when squatters took over his mother's vacant home in Northern California. Frustrated by a slow and complicated eviction process, he immersed himself in tenant and property laws, and after successfully reclaiming the property, he turned his experience into a broader mission - going on to help property owners nationwide in more than 100 cases through hands-on interventions.

Each episode follows urgent and emotional cases, from homeowners on the brink of losing everything - including a woman dealing with squatters living in her basement - to a couple whose brand-new home is occupied before they even have a chance to move in. Every case is a precise and thoughtful mission to bring homes back to their rightful owners

"Squatters" is produced for A&E by Grinning Dog Entertainment. Adam Kaloustian, Brian Ferretti, Kathleen Lojkovic and Flash Shelton serve as Executive Producers for Grinning Dog Entertainment with Seth Sherman serving as showrunner. Sean Gotlieb and Jonathan Partridge serve as Executive Producers for A&E.
