HBO Original Sports Documentary Series U.S. AGAINST THE WORLD: FOUR YEARS WITH THE MEN'S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM Debuts May 12

· The HBO Original five-part sports documentary series U.S. AGAINST THE WORLD: FOUR YEARS WITH THE MEN'S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM, produced by Park Stories, debuts TUESDAY, MAY 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. Subsequent episodes will debut Tuesdays at the same time.

· Synopsis: U.S. AGAINST THE WORLD: FOUR YEARS WITH THE MEN'S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM is an unprecedented look inside the United States Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT) in the leadup to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America this June. Filmed over the course of four years, the series follows Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams, Tim Weah, Weston McKennie, and an array of U.S. players on their personal and collective journeys toward their sport's biggest stage.

Beginning with never-before-seen footage of the USMNT at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the series captures the players through training camps and international matches, as well as intimate off-the-field moments at home and abroad. Cameras also document the 2024 transition from former head coach Gregg Berhalter to current head coach Mauricio Pochettino - a significant shift that resets their strategy and recalibrates the team. As June 2026 approaches, the focus turns to the rising urgency of individual players fighting to secure their spots on the World Cup roster and the pressure on Pochettino and his team to deliver a historic performance on home soil.
