NETFLIX RENEWS "BIG MISTAKES" FOR SEASON 2

EXTENDS CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP WITH DAN LEVY

· Netflix today announced that breakout comedy thriller series Big Mistakes has been renewed for a second season.

· Netflix and four time Emmy Award-winning multi-hyphenate talent Dan Levy are also extending their creative partnership with a series first-look deal.

· Quote from Creator/Showrunner/Executive Producer/Star Dan Levy: "Very grateful and beyond excited to continue the Big Mistakes adventure and my creative collaboration with Netflix. Season 2 is already in the works and it's going to be WILD. I can't wait to get it out there to everyone as soon as humanly possible."

· Quote from Tracey Pakosta, Netflix Vice President, Comedy Series, US at Netflix: "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Dan and bring more of his wonderfully funny and compelling stories to life. Big Mistakes is the most recent example of Dan's singular voice and vision connecting with audiences around the world. We can't wait to see what he has in store for season two."

· Netflix and Levy have teamed up on multiple projects, including the 2024 film Good Grief, marking Levy's feature film directorial debut while also joining the final season of Sex Education as 'Mr. Molloy.' Levy's beloved nine-time Emmy Award-winning series Schitt's Creek steadily grew into a global phenomenon, with its arrival on Netflix in 2020 helping introduce the show to an even wider audience ahead of its historic Emmy sweep later that year. Schitt's Creek series broke multiple records at the 2020 Emmys, including becoming the most awarded comedy series in a single year, the first ever comedy series to win an award in all four major acting categories in the same year, and the most wins for a comedy series in its final season.

· Big Mistakes will return to production in New Jersey alongside other recently released Netflix projects including Happy Gilmore 2, The Rip, A House of Dynamite, The Beast in Me as well as the upcoming series Rabbit, Rabbit and and upcoming films films Office Romance, The Whisper Man, Little Brother, Here Comes the Flood and 72 Hours.

· About Big Mistakes Season 1:

○ Synopsis: From Emmy award-winning Dan Levy comes a bold, new comedic family saga within a high-stakes crime thriller. Big Mistakes follows Nicky (Levy) and Morgan (Taylor Ortega), two deeply incapable siblings who are in over their heads when a misguided theft for their dying grandmother accidentally pulls them into the world of organized crime. Blackmailed into increasingly dangerous assignments, they clumsily fail upwards, sinking deeper into chaos they're ill-equipped to handle. ○ Creator / Showrunner / Executive Producer / Star: Dan Levy ○ Creator / Executive Producer: Rachel Sennott ○ Executive Producers: Anne-Marie McGintee for Not a Real Production Company, Dean Holland (101, 102), Etan Frankel, Timothy Greenberg ○ Cast: Dan Levy, Taylor Ortega, Laurie Metcalf, Abby Quinn, Boran Kuzum, Jack Innanen, Elizabeth Perkins, Mark Ivanir, Ilia Volok, Jacob Gutierrez and Joe Barbara
