STARZ TO PREMIERE RECORD-BREAKING BIOPIC "MICHAEL" ON AUGUST 10, IN ITS EXCLUSIVE STREAMING DEBUT

Santa Monica, Calif. - July 27, 2026 - STARZ announced today that it will be the first exclusive streaming home for Michael, the highest-grossing biopic of all time, starring Jaafar Jackson as music icon Michael Jackson. The film premieres August 10 only on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, giving audiences the chance to experience or revisit the $1 billion global box office sensation from home. The STARZ channel will also be home to the blockbuster's exclusive television premiere on the same day at 7:00 PM ET/PT.

From Lionsgate, the producer of Bohemian Rhapsody and the director of Training Day, Michael is the cinematic portrayal of the life and legacy of one of the most influential artists the world has ever known. Joining The Housemaid and Shelter, now streaming exclusively on the platform, Michael further expands STARZ's blockbuster movie lineup.
