ESPN expands sports content on Disney+ with College Football Saturdays this fall

· Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. will have access to simulcasts of two ESPN/ABC college football games each week, following North Carolina vs. TCU in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic from Ireland on Aug. 29

· College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will continue to be streamed every Saturday on Disney+ in the U.S., starting Sept. 5

ESPN and Disney+ are expanding the sports content offerings on Disney+ with the debut of College Football Saturdays this fall. Each week throughout the season, Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. can stream two ESPN/ABC college football games in addition to the Emmy Award-winning College GameDay Built by the Home Depot pregame show, which debuted on Disney+ last season.

The first game available to Disney+ subscribers, as part of their existing subscription, will be the Aer Lingus College Football Classic matchup in Dublin, Ireland between North Carolina and TCU on Saturday, Aug. 29 (noon ET). Additional matchups have been announced for Sept. 5th, 12th and 19th while remaining games this season will be determined on a weekly basis.

College GameDay will return to Disney+ beginning with its season-opening show - and 500th show on the road all-time - in Week 1 on Saturday, Sept. 5 from Baton Rouge, Louisiana before the highly-anticipated Clemson at LSU game. The three-hour college football pregame show airs Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. - noon ET and will lead into the games, creating a weekly opportunity for fans to watch college football on Disney+ all season, in addition to existing offerings on the ESPN networks and ESPN App.

Beginning with College Football Saturdays this fall, Disney+ will continue to deliver a more robust offering of industry-leading sports content to subscribers with additional games, studio programming and original content across a variety of sports to follow in the months ahead.

Since launching ESPN on Disney+ in the U.S. in December 2024, Disney+ has steadily expanded sports offerings both domestically and globally. ESPN studio offerings already include The Rich Eisen Show, special editions of ESPN's flagship daily shows (Get Up, First Take and Pardon the Interruption), as well as original studio content in SportsCenter+ and Vibe Check. Earlier this year, ESPN on Disney+ also debuted in the EMEA and APAC regions.

This year, Disney+ has featured more than 75 live sports events across various properties, including the NBA, NHL, WNBA, NWSL, college basketball, tennis and more, along with studio and original programming.
