USA Network Greenlights New Scripted Original Series "Diplomatic Immunity"

USA NETWORK GREENLIGHTS NEW SCRIPTED ORIGINAL SERIES "DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY"

Produced by FOX Entertainment Studios, the Medical Drama is Written by Matt Corman & Chris Ord

August 25, 2026 - On the heels of the record-breaking premiere of freshman drama Anna Pigeon, USA Network announced today the straight-to-series greenlight of the new scripted original Diplomatic Immunity. From FOX Entertainment Studios, the new hour-long medical drama is written by Matt Corman & Chris Ord (Covert Affairs, Daredevil: Born Again), who will executive produce and serve as showrunners. The series will be produced by FOX Entertainment Studios and distributed internationally by FOX Entertainment Global.

Diplomatic Immunity centers on a young American doctor who is suddenly assigned to the medical office at the U.S. Embassy in Rome. He finds himself encountering challenging medical cases that require him to navigate diplomacy, government personalities and geopolitical situations - all while managing the romantic entanglements set against the thrill of a new life in a new country.
