Games for defending Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues to be available for in-market fans on Prime Video beginning with 2026-27 season

Agreement furthers Prime Video's expansion as a leading destination for local sports, with a growing portfolio that spans dozens of NHL, NBA, WNBA and MLB teams

NEW YORK - September 2, 2026 - Prime Video and the National Hockey League (NHL) today announced a multi-year agreement establishing Prime Video as an exclusive local streaming home for six NHL teams, beginning with the upcoming 2026-27 season. The deal adds to local NHL coverage already available on Prime Video.

The defending Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will all be available on Prime Video for fans within each team's regional territory. The offerings provide in-market fans with an exclusive option to enjoy streams of regular-season games, inclusive of pre- and post-game shows, and additional team programming. Each Club will announce specific details of the streaming packages and subscription options in their respective territory.

"We're excited to build upon our strong relationship with the NHL and provide fans with more ways to connect with the local teams they love," said Charlie Neiman, Head of Sports Partnerships, Prime Video. "We have firmly established Prime Video as a primary destination for sports and look forward to helping these teams broaden the reach and accessibility of their live games."

"Fans want an easy way to find and follow their favorite teams, and this agreement with Prime Video gives Clubs the flexibility to meet that demand as the market evolves," said David Proper, NHL Chief Media Officer and Senior Executive Vice President. "Amazon has been a terrific partner to the NHL, and we're excited to expand our relationship as Prime Video grows its NHL offerings. Together, we're creating new opportunities for Clubs to reach fans and delivering a premium, accessible regional viewing experience."

The partnership adds to Prime Video's extensive offerings of local sports team coverage, including deals to distribute the Seattle Kraken, MSG Networks, CHSN, NESN, Peacock NBC Sports Network RSN's in Boston, Philadelphia and Bay Area, SNY, YES Network, and Marquee Sports Network, with more to be announced as agreements are finalized. This agreement with the NHL also broadens Prime Video's relationship with the league, following the 12-year deal announced earlier this summer to exclusively broadcast Wednesday night national regular season NHL games in Canada in both English and French, as well as present significant postseason coverage.

In-market fans in the U.S. will be able to watch locally at home or on the go, and across thousands of compatible devices, streaming from the web, or using the Prime Video app on smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes, game consoles, and connected TVs. Out-of-market fans will still be able to watch with NHL Center Ice. For a complete list of compatible devices, visit amazon.com/howtostream.
