November 6, 2026 - The Label is the new six-episode Netflix series about the Italian music industry, starring Christian De Sica and Claudio Santamaria. Directed by Luca Miniero and produced by Be Water Film, the series will soon be available only on Netflix.
The cast also includes Cristiana Capotondi, Ornella Muti, Sofia Conti, Madior Giorgio Fall and Martina Gatti.
Label, Italy's last major independent record label, is facing the most turbulent year in its history, drawing three generations of one family into the turmoil: Ade (Christian De Sica) is a brilliant, overbearing patriarch who refuses to step aside; his son Carlo (Claudio Santamaria) is under pressure from the banks and struggling with the weight of the family legacy; his granddaughter Celeste (Sofia Conti) brings a new wave of artists into the business. As the label nears bankruptcy and old and new collide, everyone is searching for the song - or the artist - that could save it. Meanwhile, love affairs and creative partnerships take shape and fall apart amid the daily chaos of the music industry.
