Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Surges with NFL Playoffs

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/10/21):

NBC (17.336 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.0, #1) surged to the top spot on Sunday with its mix of "Mr. Mayor" (6.086 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5), "Football Night in America" (7.791 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) and "NFL Playoff Game: Cleveland at Pittsburgh" (20.801 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.0, #T1).

CBS (11.977 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) took home the silver with a full hour of "NFL Overrun" (25.180 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.0, #T1) followed by originals from "60 Minutes" (13.048 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (5.578 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (4.102 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).

Next up was ABC (3.552 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) and its lineup of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.068 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6), a repeat "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune" (3.150 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8), "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" (2.976 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "The Rookie" (3.015 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

Meanwhile, FOX (0.773 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) offered up its second run lineup of "The Simpsons" (0.651 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #17), "Bob's Burgers" (0.617 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13), another "The Simpsons" (0.921 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "Family Guy" (0.865 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13), another "Bob's Burgers" (0.771 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and another "Family Guy" (0.814 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13).

And finally, The CW (0.261 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.0, #5) closed out the night with "Critics Choice Super Awards" (0.261 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.0, #18).

Second place then went to CBS (6.696 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) with its mix of "60 Minutes" (10.110 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4), "God Friended Me" (6.174 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (6.298 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5) and a repeat "FBI: Most Wanted" (4.200 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8).
