CBS continued its season-long winning streak, making it 15 consecutive weekly victories in viewers in a rebroadcast-laden week that also included the New Year's holiday weekend, according to national Nielsen ratings for the week ending Jan. 1, week 15 of the 2005-2006 television season.

This is the first time one network has won the first 15 weeks of the television season in viewers since NBC won weeks 1-15 in the 1988-89 season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (10.06m) beat ABC (8.06m), NBC (7.02m) and FOX (5.74m). Season-to-date, CBS (12.93m) leads, followed by ABC (10.38m), NBC (9.07m) and FOX (7.90m).

For the week in households, CBS (6.7/12) enjoyed a +31% advantage over ABC (5.1/09), +43% over NBC (4.7/08) and +81% over FOX (3.7/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.4/14), outpacing ABC by +25% (6.7/11), NBC by +40% (6.0/10) and FOX by +68% (5.0/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.5/09) for the fourth consecutive week, and second in adults 18-49 (2.6/08, -0.2 behind ABC). CBS has won 12 of the last 13 weeks in adults 25-54 and nine of the last 13 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).

� CSI: MIAMI SPECIAL (S) (R) was second in households (8.5/15), viewers (12.93m), adults 25-54 (5.1/13), adults 18-49 (4.2/12) and adults 18-34 (2.9/10) behind the final ABC "Monday Night Football" broadcast.

� NCIS (R) was first in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.17m), adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.0/09, with a first run "Fear Factor" on NBC).

� THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS (S) was first in households (7.4/13), viewers (10.85m), second in adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/05). This is the best delivery for THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS in households since 1999 and best performance in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 2003.

� CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.39m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08) for the third consecutive week. Compared to the first run broadcast of this episode (10/5/05), CRIMINAL MINDS retained 95% of its adults 25-54 delivery (from 4.3/10) and 94% of its adults 18-49 performance (from 3.3/08).

� CSI: NY (R) was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (11.51m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12), adults 18-49 (3.7/11) and adults 18-34 (2.8/10) for the third consecutive week.

� CRIMINAL MINDS THURSDAY SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (11.45m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11), adults 18-49 (3.2/09) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07). Compared to the first run broadcast of this episode (10/19/05), CRIMINAL MINDS retained 89% of its households delivery (from 8.5/12), 90% of its viewer performance (from 12.79m), 87% of its adults 25-54 delivery (from 4.8/10) and 82% of its adults 18-49 (from 3.9/09). .

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (11.3/18), viewers (17.65m), adults 25-54 (6.9/17), adults 18-49 (5.3/15) and adults 18-34 (3.8/12) in the 9PM time period.

� WITHOUT A TRACE (R) was first in households (8.0/14), viewers (11.71m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

� NUMB3RS (R) was first for the 14th consecutive airing in viewers (9.83m) and adults 25-54 (3.6/10), first for the 13th time in 14 broadcasts in households (6.6/12) and second for only the second time in 14 broadcasts in adults 18-49 (2.5/08), finishing first every other time.
