�Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� Leads its 8 O�Clock Time Period With its Strongest Total Viewers and Adult 18-49 Numbers Since January

On its First Telecast in 3 Weeks, ABC�s �Desperate Housewives� Leads its Nearest Competition at 9pm by Nearly 10 Million Viewers and by 144% in Adults 18-49

Building on its Lead-in for the 3rd Straight Telecast, ABC�s �Grey�s Anatomy� Beats CBS and NBC Together at 10pm by 5.1 Million Viewers and by 83% in Adults 18-49

Sunday Primetime (7:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC ranked as the dominant No. 1 network on Sunday night opposite all original competition on the other nets, beating its nearest competitors by 7.5 million viewers (17.9 million vs. 10.4 million � CBS) and by 95% in Adults 18-49 (7.4/18 vs. 3.8/9 � Fox). ABC won each half-hour of the evening beginning at 8:00 p.m. among viewers and young adults. ABC also took first place on the evening among Adults 25-54 (8.2/18), Adults 18-34 (6.6/18), Teens 12-17 (3.8/12) and Kids 2-11 (2.5/9).

� ABC aired the Top 3 TV programs on Sunday among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, with �Grey�s Anatomy,� �Desperate Housewives� and �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.�

� Compared to the same Sunday a year ago (3/13/05), ABC�s delivery grew by 4.8 million viewers (17.9 million vs. 13.1 million) and by 40% in Adults 18-49 (7.4/18 vs. 5.3/13).

�Extreme Makeover: Home Edition � 3/12� (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

A 7 o�clock installment of �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� was a very strong second in its hour to Fox�s NASCAR overrun among Adults 18-49 (3.9/11 vs. 4.0/12).

�Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

ABC�s �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� won its regular 8 o�clock time period by 1.6 million viewers (16.7 million vs. 15.1 million � CBS� �Cold Case�) and by 70% in Adults 18-49 (6.8/16 vs. 4.0/10 � Fox�s �The Simpsons�/�The War at Home�).

� �Home Edition� delivered it strongest numbers since January in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (since 1/8/06), while hitting a season high among Adults 18-34 (6.0/17).

�Desperate Housewives� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

On its first broadcast in 3 weeks, after being pre-empted for the �Dancing with the Stars� finale and the �Academy Awards,� ABC�s �Desperate Housewives� dominated Sunday�s 9 o�clock hour. �Desperate Housewives� beat second-place NBC�s �Law & Order: C.I.� in the time period by 9.9 million viewers (22.2 million vs. 12.3 million) and by 144% in Adults 18-49 (8.8/19 vs. 3.6/8).

�Grey�s Anatomy� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Building on its �Desperate Housewives� lead-in among viewers and young adults for the third consecutive telecast, ABC�s �Grey�s Anatomy� beat CBS and NBC combined during the 10 o�clock hour. In its time period, �Grey�s� topped the combined deliveries of CBS (Sunday Movie) and NBC (�Crossing Jordan�) by 5.1 million viewers (22.5 million vs. 17.4 million) and by 83% in Adults 18-49 (9.9/23 vs. 5.4/12).
