The premiere of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS won its time period in viewers and key demographics while the second installment of ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA improved upon its Wednesday premiere, according to Nielsen live plus same day preliminary ratings for Thursday, July 6.
BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS (P) won its 8PM time slot in households (4.9/09), viewers (7.69m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (2.8/10) and adults 18-34 (2.3/09).
A special Thursday edition of ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA (S) (3.9/07, 6.05m) finished second in key demographics, averaging 2.6/08 in adults 18-49, 1.9/07 in adults 18-34 and 3.0/08 in adults 25-54.
Compared to its Wednesday 90-minute premiere, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA was up +14% in viewers, +18% in adults 18-49, +12% in adults 18-34 and +20% in adults 25-54.
At 10 PM, CSI (R) (S) was first in households (6.4/11), viewers (9.52m), adults 25-54 (3.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).
For the night, CBS was first in viewers (7.75m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/09).
Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS (P) won its 8PM time slot in households (4.8/09), viewers (7.54m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (2.8/10) and adults 18-34 (2.3/09).
A special Thursday edition of ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA (S) (3.9/07, 6.02m) finished second in key demographics, averaging 2.7/08 in adults 18-49, 2.0/07 in adults 18-34 and 3.0/08 in adults 25-54.
Compared to its Wednesday 90-minute premiere, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA was up +14% in viewers, +23% in adults 18-49, +18% in adults 18-34 and +20% in adults 25-54.
At 10 PM, CSI (R) (S) was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (9.70m), adults 25-54 (3.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). CSI was the night's top program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, the top scripted program in adults 18-49.
For the night, CBS was first in viewers (7.76m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/09).
