CBS WINS THURSDAY IN VIEWERS FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK

CBS Is Also First in Adults 25-54 for the Fourth Time

"Survivor: Cook Islands" Tops "Ugly Betty" in Viewers and Demos For the Fourth Consecutive Week

"CSI" Places a Solid Second in Time Period On a Competitive Night That Included Game 7 of the NLCS

"Shark" Moves Ahead of "ER" in Viewers In Preliminary National Ratings

CBS won Thursday for the fifth consecutive week of the season and placed first in adults 25-54 for the fourth time in five weeks on a night that included Game 7 of the National League Championship Series (St. Louis Cardinals vs. N.Y. Mets), according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 19.

The sixth episode of SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in viewers (14.97m), adults 25-54 (6.4/16), adults 18-49 (5.3/14) and tied for first in households (8.9/14, with ABC).

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS topped "Ugly Betty" for the fourth consecutive week in adults 18-49 (vs. 4.3/12, +23%), adults 25-54 (vs. 5.1/12, +25%) and viewers (vs. 13.07m, +1.90m viewers or +15%).

CSI was a solid second in households (12.5/18), viewers (20.20m), adults 25-54 (8.2/18) and adults 18-49 (6.8/16).

At 10:00 PM, SHARK was second, behind FOX's tentative baseball delivery, in viewers (13.61m, +60,000 ahead of NBC), tied for second in households (9.0/14, with NBC) while averaging 5.1/12 in adults 25-54 and 4.2/11 in adults 18-49.

Note: Both SHARK and "ER" started at 10:01PM and fast NTI averages include one minute of each network's 9:00PM programming in the hour. Ratings are subject to change.

For the night, CBS was first in households (10.1/16), viewers (16.26m), adults 25-54 (6.6/15) and second in adults 18-49 (5.4/14).

Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

CBS won Thursday for the fifth consecutive week of the season and placed first in adults 25-54 for the fourth time in five weeks on a night that included Game 7 of the National League Championship Series (St. Louis Cardinals vs. N.Y. Mets), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 19.

The sixth episode of SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in viewers (15.02m), adults 25-54 (6.4/16), adults 18-49 (5.3/14) and tied for first in households (8.9/14, with ABC).

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS topped "Ugly Betty" for the fourth consecutive week in adults 18-49 (vs. 4.4/12, +20%), adults 25-54 (vs. 5.1/12, +25%) and viewers (vs. 13.17m, +1.84m viewers or +14%).

At 9:00 PM, CSI was a solid second in households (12.7/19), viewers (20.49m), adults 25-54 (8.3/18) and adults 18-49 (6.9/16).

SHARK posted a 9.1/15 in households with 13.71m viewers, 5.1/12 in adults 25-54 and matched a series high in adults 18-49 with a 4.2/11. SHARK was up +5% from last week's adults 18-49 delivery (from 4.0/11).

For the night, CBS was first in households (10.2/16) and viewers (16.44m) for the fifth consecutive Thursday, first in adults 25-54 (6.6/15) for the fourth time in five weeks and was second in adults 18-49 (5.5/14).
