CBS Wins Thursday in Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Places First in Adults 18-49 For the First Time This Season

CSI hit a season high in viewers, beating "Grey's Anatomy" by nearly three million viewers, and also had its highest adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings since September, leading CBS to a first place win on Thursday in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (tie), according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 16.

Last night marked the second consecutive week CSI had beaten "Grey's Anatomy" in viewers and also is also the closest the two series have been in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

CSI was first in households (14.7/22), viewers (23.83m), second in adults 25-54 (9.6/21, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (7.9/19). This is CSI's best delivery this season in households and viewers and best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 9/28/06. This is also the first time this season a first-run CSI topped a first-run "Grey's Anatomy" in the metered markets.

CSI beat a first run "Grey's Anatomy" by its largest margin of victory this season in households (+1.1) and viewers (+2.87m) and finished in its closest competitive position in both adults 25-54 (-0.1) and adults 18-49 (-0.9) this season.

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in households (9.2/14), viewers (15.47m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (5.4/15). This is SURVIVOR's best households and viewers delivery since Oct. 12.

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS dominated "Ugly Betty" in households (vs. 8.9/14, +3%), adults 18-34 (3.6/11 vs. 3.4/10, +6%), adults 18-49 (vs. 3.9/11, +38%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.8/12, +35%), viewers (vs. 12.96m, +2.51m viewers or +19%).

At 10PM, SHARK was first in households (10.0/17), viewers (15.32m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (5.6/14, with ABC) and averaged a 4.4/12 in adults 18-49.

If the ratings hold, these are series highs for SHARK in all key measures.

For the night, CBS was first in households (11.3/18), viewers (18.21m), and adults 25-54 (7.2/17). If ratings hold, it will also mark the first time CBS has placed first in adults 18-49 (5.9/15) this season.

Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

Last night marked the second consecutive week CSI has beaten "Grey's Anatomy" in viewers, posted its first tie in adults 25-54 and was in the closest the two series have been in adults 18-49.

CSI was first in households (14.8/22), viewers (24.11m), adults 25-54 (9.7/21, tied with ABC for the first time this season) and second in adults 18-49 (7.9/19). This is CSI's best delivery this season in households and viewers and best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Sept. 28, 2006. This is also the first time this season a first-run CSI topped a first-run "Grey's Anatomy" in the metered markets.

CSI beat a first run "Grey's Anatomy" by its largest margin of victory this season in households (+1.2) and viewers (+3.19m), tied the ABC drama in adults 25-54 for the first time and finished in its closest competitive position in adults 18-49 (-0.7) this season.

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in households (9.0/14), viewers (15.35m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (5.3/14). This is SURVIVOR's best households and viewers delivery since Oct. 12, 2006.

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS dominated "Ugly Betty" in households (vs. 8.9/14, +1%), adults 18-34 (3.5/11 vs. 3.4/10, +3%), adults 18-49 (vs. 3.9/11, +36%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.8/12, +35%), viewers (vs. 12.95m, +2.40m viewers or +18%).

At 10PM, SHARK was first in households (9.9/16), viewers (15.24m), second in adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and averaged a 4.4/12 in adults 18-49. These are all series highs for SHARK.

For the night, CBS was first in households (11.3/18), viewers (18.28m), adults 25-54 (7.3/17) and adults 18-49 (5.9/15). This is CBS's first Thursday win this season in adults 18-49 and the eighth win in nine weeks in both viewers and adults 25-54.
