CBS Is First in Viewers For the Ninth Consecutive Week and First in Adults 25-54 For the Eighth Time This Season

CBS Leads the November Sweep in Viewers and Adults 25-54 and Is Second in Adults 18-49

Led by season high ratings for five of the Network's programs, CBS made it nine for nine, placing first in viewers for the ninth consecutive week, first in adults 25-54 for the eighth time this season and second in adults 18-49 (tie), according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending Nov. 19, week nine of the 2006-2007 season.

CSI, SHARK, CSI: MIAMI, THE AMAZING RACE 10 and 60 MINUTES all delivered season high ratings in viewers and/or key demographics.

For the week in viewers, CBS (13.41m) beat ABC (12.96m), NBC (10.12m) and FOX (6.63m). Season-to-date, CBS (13.07m) leads ABC (11.95m), NBC (10.34m) and FOX (8.23m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (5.1/12, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (4.0/11). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 and second in adults 18-49 (-0.3 behind ABC).

For the week in households, CBS (8.6/14) had a +2% advantage over ABC (8.4/13), +32% over NBC (6.5/10) and +110% over FOX (4.1/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.4/13), leading ABC by +9% (7.7/12), NBC by +25% (6.7/11) and FOX by +58% (5.3/09).

Eighteen days into the November 2006 sweep, CBS is first in households (8.4/13), viewers (13.11m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with NBC).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (12.4/20), viewers (18.77m), adults 25-54 (7.6/18), adults 18-49 (6.3/16) and adults 18-34 (4.7/13). CSI: MIAMI scored season highs in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

? NCIS was second in households (10.0/15), viewers (15.80m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11) against the Tuesday finale of "Dancing with the Stars". This matches the regularly-scheduled season best NCIS delivery in adults 25-54 and is the regularly-scheduled season best adults 18-49 performance.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (10.4/16), viewers (16.48m), adults 25-54 (6.2/14), adults 18-49 (4.9/12) and adults 18-34 (3.1/09).

? CSI: NY was first in households (10.3/17), viewers (16.18m), adults 25-54 (6.3/15), adults 18-49 (5.2/14) and adults 18-34 (3.6/10).

-- CBS won Thursday in households (11.3/18), viewers (18.28m), adults 25-54 (7.3/17) and adults 18-49 (5.9/15). This is CBS's first Thursday win this season in adults 18-49 and the eighth win in nine weeks in both viewers and adults 25-54.

? SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in households (9.0/14), viewers (15.35m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (5.3/14). This is SURVIVOR's best households and viewers delivery since Oct. 12, 2006. SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS dominated "Ugly Betty" in households (vs. 8.9/14, +1%), adults 18-34 (3.5/11 vs. 3.4/10, +3%), adults 18-49 (vs. 3.9/11, +36%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.8/12, +35%), viewers (vs. 12.95m, +2.40m viewers or +18%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (14.8/22), viewers (24.11m), adults 25-54 (9.7/21, tied with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (7.9/19). This is CSI's best delivery this season in households and viewers and best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Sept. 28, 2006. CSI beat a first run "Grey's Anatomy" by its largest margin of victory this season in households (+1.2) and viewers (+3.19m), tied the ABC drama in adults 25-54 for the first time and finished in its closest competitive position in adults 18-49 (-0.7) this season.

? SHARK was first in households (9.9/16), viewers (15.24m) and second in adults 25-54 (5.6/14). This is SHARK's best delivery to date in households, viewers, adults 18-49 (4.4/12) and adults 25-54.

-- On Sunday, from 7:00-7:22PM, CBS's NFL run over averaged an 18.1/31 household rating with 29.42m viewers. If ranked as a program, this would have been the #1 program of the week among viewers.

? 60 MINUTES (7:22-8:22 PM) posted a 12.3/19 with 19.16m viewers, 5.9/14 in adults 25-54 and 4.5/12 in adults 18-49, all first in the 7:30-8:30PM time period. This is 60 MINUTES's best delivery in households and viewers since December 11, 2005; best adults 25-54 delivery since January 8, 2006 and best delivery in adults 18-49 since October 15, 2006.

? THE AMAZING RACE 10 (8:22-9:22 PM) delivered a 7.6/11 with 12.40m viewers, 5.1/11 in adults 25-54 and 4.1/09 in adults 18-49. This is the best delivery for any edition of THE AMAZING RACE since May 10, 2005 (THE AMAZING RACE 7 finale) in households and viewers, best delivery in adults 25-54 since Dec. 13, 2005 (THE AMAZING RACE 8 finale) and best adults 18-49 performance since Feb. 28, 2006 (THE AMAZING RACE 9 premiere).

-- THE AMAZING RACE 10 broadcasts have all delivered more than 10 million viewers with this episode being the first to delivery more than 12 million. Only one episode of THE AMAZING RACE 9 (the season premiere) delivered 10 million viewers plus and no episodes of either THE AMAZING RACE 8 or THE AMAZING RACE 9 posted more than 12 million viewers.
