CBS Wins Week In Households And Viewers For 14th Consecutive Time

Eye Also Wins Adults 25-54 for 13th Time in 14 Weeks

Wins 18-49 For Second Consecutive Week

Has Seven of the Week�s Top Scripted Series

In a holiday week dominated by specials and rebroadcasts, CBS took the household and viewership crown for the 14th consecutive week of the season, while also scoring a victory in adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending Dec. 24, week 14 of the 2006-2007 television season.

CBS had seven of the week's top 10 most watched programs, including CSI (#2), CSI: MIAMI (#4), CSI: NY (#5), NCIS (#6), 60 MINUTES (#7), TWO AND A HALF MEN (#8), RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER (#9) and SHARK (#10).

For the week in viewers, CBS (8.84m) beat NBC (7.33m), ABC (6.25m) and FOX (5.61m). Season-to-date, CBS (12.57m) is first in viewers, followed by ABC (10.80m), NBC (10.07m) and FOX (7.92m).

In key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.1/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 and tied with ABC for first in adults 18-49.

And in households, CBS (5.7/10) had a +19% advantage over NBC (4.8/08), +39% over ABC (4.1/07) and +58% over FOX (3.6/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first, (8.0/13), outpacing ABC by +14% (7.0/11), NBC by +23% (6.5/11) and FOX by +57% (5.1/08).

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS:

? CSI: MIAMI (R) was first in households (8.2/14), viewers (12.15m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10) -- topping the competition combined in households (vs. 6.5/11, +26%), viewers (vs. 9.11m, +33%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.0/09, +15%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 3.6/09, +6%).

Tuesday, CBS was first in households (6.1/10), viewers (9.20m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (3.2/08, with NBC).

? NCIS (R) was first in households (7.0/11), viewers (10.92m) and adults 25-54. NCIS is the night's #1 program in households and viewers.

? THE UNIT (R) was second in viewers (8.61m), tied for second in both households (5.7/09, with NBC) and adults 25-54 (3.1/08, with NBC).

Wednesday, CBS was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (9.85m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10), adults 18-49 (3.0/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/07).

? THE KING OF QUEENS was first in households (5.5/09), adult 25-54 (3.6/10), tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.8/09, with NBC), second in viewers (8.29m, -0.04m behind NBC) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07, -0.1 behind NBC).

? CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.25m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and tied for first in both adults 18-49 (2.9/08, with first run "Dateline" on NBC) and adults 18-34 (2.0/06, with both FOX and NBC).

? CSI: NY (R) was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (12.14m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12), adults 18-49 (3.8/11) and adults 18-34 (2.8/09). CSI: NY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

Sunday, CBS was first in households (6.4/14), viewers (10.29m), adults 25-54 (3.4/11) and adults 18-49 (2.9/11).

CBS had 45 minutes of NFL run over, posting a 12.9/31 with 21.89m viewers, 7.1/29 in adults 18-49 and 8.2/31 in adults 25-54. If ranked as a program this week, the run over would have been the top ranked program in these measures.
