January 31, 2007 (Burbank, California) - Gilmore Girls scored its season high performance in women 18-34 (4.0/10) and hit its second best adults 18-34 (2.5/7) of the season (best since 11/28/06), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 30.

Against tough competition, The CW ranked second on Tuesday night among adults 18-34 and women 18-34, and tied for second among women 18-49 (2.4/5).

Gilmore Girls ranked second in the hour among adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49 (3.1/7), behind only "American Idol." Compared to last week, Gilmore Girls improved 25% in adults 18-34, 25% in women 18-34, 24% in adults 18-49 (2.1/5) and 19% in women 18-49.

Veronica Mars ranked second in the hour among women 18-34 (2.3/6) with the show's second best delivery of the season in that demo.
