USA Kicks Off March #1 Across the Board

USA KICKS OFF MARCH #1 ACROSS THE BOARD

Original Series Breaks Records

NEW YORK - March 6, 2007 - For the first week of March 2007 USA was the #1 network in basic cable prime among all key demos, households, and total viewers. USA averaged a 2.2 household rating, 617,000 in P18-34, 1.2 million in P18-49, 1.2 million in P25-54, and 2.8 million total viewers

USA was the #1 network, delivering more P25-54 than any other network in basic cable prime on all three nights original programming aired this week: Monday with WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, Thursday with the season finale of NASHVILLE STAR, and Friday with the season finales of MONK and PSYCH.

USA continues to break records with original programs

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW delivered more P18-49 this week than it had on a Mon 9-11P since the show's first night back on USA on 10/3/05. RAW delivered more P25-54 this week than it had since the Eddie Guerrero memorial tribute episode in November 2005. Over 6 million total viewers tuned in to RAW this week, the largest total audience the program has had since May 2002.

The season finale of NASHVILLE STAR was up 11% in P25-54 from last season's finale. The full season of NASHVILLE STAR was up 2% in P25-54 from the prior season. This was the most watched season yet among P18-34.

The finales of MONK Season 5.5 and PSYCH Season 1.5 were the most viewed episodes of their respective seasons. With 2.4 million and 2.1 million in P25-54 respectively, USA's MONK and PSYCH were the top two programs in basic cable prime on Friday night among key demos P18-49, P25-54, and total viewers. These were the only programs to deliver more than 2 million P25-54 in basic cable prime Friday night. USA delivered more P25-54 in the 9P hour than ABC or FOX.
